Oil Coolers

Are oil coolers worth the work it takes to put in and what is the best brand or what do you use and why?

For $35 its worth preventing fade on BIG BORES or Strokers, but I'm not sure if you have either. The work and $$ is worth it if you know how to DIY.

Xx,

NO not $200!! OK I'll charge ya $150 for the kit then and pocket the difference, HEHE!! Anyway, PermaCool makes the same kit FST sells. As a matter of fact, I beleive he buys the same kit and resells it. The cooler is a power steering pump cooler (1008 Universal ATV Oil Cooler Kit), or you can get it from JEG's too. They both have websites. They are $35 per kit. Project 400EX on sportquad.com has instructions on their website to assist you in your install. Speaking of sportquad.com, they have a 440 hit'n 37hp, my friends 440 I helped build makes 42, heh! http://www.off-road.com/atv/project...ors/part2.html.

I bought the Perma-Cool kit, it's the same as the FST, but much cheaper. You'll just have to make a grill so it doesn't get destroyed by rocks. I bought stuff to make a grill at Home Depot for about $8.
