works shocks on 250 ex

Have any of u guys put 300 ex works shocks on a 250 ex? If so howd u get the bottom to fit. Does anybody know if the bushings are the same as on a stock shock. Because i was told by alot of ppl that the bottom would fit on a stock shock so i thought maybe i could use the buchings from a stocker. what do u think
