2007 GNCC Round 4 Race coverage "Big Buck" SC Youth Race

Round #4 of the GNCC Can Am series rolled into Union South Carolina this weekend. 80 Youth entries were signed up for the saturday morning race and the talent pool in this event just keeps growing!

The 8 am start time had the first mini quad fired up at around 6:30 AM which was soon followed by a chorus of young riders getting the day started as the sun broke out over the starting line.

Cody Hill was ready to try once again to put his stock DRR up against some of the wildest and well built 90cc quads in the nation.

Dylan Bradford has been on a tear during the past 2 rounds, claiming both overall wins aboard his finely tuned Cobra. This course would suit him well as wide open field sections and woods courses wide enough for a small truck to drive on awaited him and the others over the 6+ mile course!

Kyle Riley was sticking to his Cobra for this round, as it has served him well being riden to the overall at the opening round.

Canan Summerfield gets a few last minute words from his dad prioir to the event. Canan is a great rider and everyone better keep an eye on him as he matures into someone that will be battling for a win very soon. he is learning every round and has no fear of letting it all hang out, the boy rips!

I was lucky enough to have Harlen Foley helping me take pictures of the Youth riders this round, and as I went for a spot to capture the start, he was busy getting some starting line shots as the morning prayer was read.
