2005 ITP Quadcross Round #6

Well here we are back at Glen Helen for round 6 of the ITP Quadcross. It's been several weeks since the last round at Race Town. Dana Creech leads the series with 95 and Jeremy Schell just a few points behind with 86. Dustin Nelson is down a few points after a couple bad rounds at 74.

Even with one of the lowest turnouts of the series, the pro class was still as full as ever. The track was back to it's normal direction too. As they come around the big Taladega turn Nelson and Schell lead the way.

Nelson first Schell second...Doug Eichner and Mike Machado both got very good starts also. Dana Creech was right there in fifth.

Nelson goes wide and Schell squares off the corner and both come out right next to each other and bump together.

This caused Nelson to loose a little ground and fall back a couple spots.

Jeremy Schell on his Golden West Cylcles machine took the lead and never looked back.

As they headed up the first hill Doug Eichner moves into second and Machado falls to third with Nelson in fourth.

The battle for second and third heated up as Dana Creech moved into fourth behind Eichner and Nelson.

Here Nelson tries to get on the inside of Eichner as Creech remains in fourth with Machado in fifth..
