The GNC Series headed to Michigan for the exciting 7th Round. Doug Gust headed into the round with 5 consecutive Overalls and was to continue his streak and lengthen his 63 points lead over Jeremiah Jones and John Natalie Jr tied for 2nd with 112 points each.

Stormy weather and a severe thunderstorm threat pushed the promoter to shorten the Amateur motos to finish up on Sunday before the storms arrived. Thankfully, the rain held off and for both Pro Motos unlike the previous round at Muddy Creek, and the racing action was intense.

Several EXriders.com members attended the race to cover the racing action, and Fred has taken the time to post his Pro Race Report.


Ellis pulled the holeshot and was the first to hit the ski jump.
