Need help with Maier Hood

I just got the maier hood today and am having some trouble mounting it. Do i have to drill holes through it into the mounting brackets ? Also i hope to use the stock gas cover and side panels will this work out ok ?

Are you putting a hood on or all new front plastic? Because if it is all new front plastic, there is another thread in the FAQ section about that.
