Can someone grab me a quick picture of race cut fronts on a 400EX? the "pointy" ones - I just need a pic on how far to cut them in the "back" (what you see from the rider's perspective). Do you just cut to the black side panels or leave a little hanging over?

And yes, I tried a search but it kept timing out on me, and I looked through about 8 pages of threads in here but couldn't find the kind of pic I was looking for..

before i even put them on my quad.. i havn't evened them out yet

Also just did it by eye, marking where i thought it would look good, and then making the marks darker and darker when i felt that was the right place doens't have to be perfect

I ended up cutting them about 5 minutes after making this thread. I did an old set, so the cuts came out good but the plastic looks like crap (faded and stuff). I may do my spare red set for racing..
