I did it after the 1st 1/2 tank...not even. Lots of flakes. Do it again a tank after that. Better to spend a little extra cash on filters and oil for a good clean break in.

Probably don't have to but I would do the same. Only for break in though. I did not so much for the plates but the other parts that are new. I figured we should change the tranny every other time we change engine oil. Engine oil every 12-15? These are race engines so they really need good clean oil. They will eat it up too so check it everytime you ride. It's crazy and I need to get in the habit. She's no tractor.

This is what I am going to run. What does everybody think of Amsoil? I never used it.

Its ok, but i like honda oil better. Right now im running castrol synthetic oil in mine. 10w-40
