Anyone have actual pics or know someone who has black plastics on their 400ex. I want to see what they look like after a few months. Do they fade or still look good. I was thiking of trying a half red half black with my bike.

This is what mine looked like after about 6 months they really didin't fade accept where my legs rubbed from hard dune riding.

thats mine, you can really see the scraches, but it still looks better then red or yellow, on my old 400 i have black on there too, and if you are planing on going with the full fenders they are really flemsey (can't spell) and they just flop around

he doesn't like the way harlen runs this place so he stopped comin. pretty much the only forum he visits now is MTX. hes got "other interests" now besides quadding too which i am sad to see. he needs a rebuild i'm hoping when i convince him to get that done he'll like riding again.

I wanna get silver plastics for my 400 and a quad tech hood ...

But I think I like the cut of fullbores a little better ...

Those plastics are about a year and a half old...pretty scratched up around the gas cap from taking them on and off, and the rears are messed up from going between my nerf bar and rear tire. But besides that, they've held up good!

Do you or anyone know how a quad tech hood mounts up to the maire plastics? ... does it mount good?

ok for those of us who want the black or silver plastics but dont race i have 2 questions

1. what do you do with the headlights? i have seen the smaller handlebar mounted lights and ive found them at a couple places on the internet.

2. where do you relocate the key switch to because rocky mountian atv says that with the maier plastics with the race front end you have to relocate the key switch and the race front end plastics are about 60 bucks cheaper then the OEM style.
