i got some works triple rate shocks with rezzies i am mounting them to the 2 front arms of the frame but i got the shocks used and the hose clamps i got were all beat to hell so i bought new ones. now how hard should i clamp the rezzsies to the frame? i used a drill but i clamped them down pretty hard and kinda twisted them alittle but not much. so is there a suck thing as to tight?

There is always the thing "too Tight" Just tighten them down by hand until they feel snug and aren't going to move around.

does it matter if the bolts for the hose clamps are on the rezzies or would it be better to put them behinde the frame?

it doesn't matter. I have mine on the rezzies and they seem to be doing ok. Did you get the peices of rubber that go between the fram and the rezzies?

little pieces of rubber help....you could use just little strips of it if thats all you had, i have the normal style ones

those little pieces of rubber sometimes crack in two over time. On mime after those little rubber pieces broke i tooks some black 5/8 heater hose about 4 in long and slit it. Then wraped it around the frame before i clamped it down with the hose clamps its held up great

huh buddy dont bust his ballz when your skills aren't up to snuff either....."curious" "your rezzies" "they"

just provin a point man...

as for the rubber mounts splitting it might be possible, but it would never matter cause the clamp is holding them on there anyways

The rubber and hose clamps work well, but you could also buy some of the rezzy holders, all though they can get expensive.

To mount your resiviours properly cut a piece of 3/4'' piece of rubber hose and place it between the frame and resiviour. Tighten your clamps snuggly plus one turn. Ride the quad around for a few laps and check them again. Any other questions call me. I also service those shocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MCNETT PERFORMANCE
