WD-40 makes it look brand new again...i used it the other day and it still looks great...it makes me not wanna get it dirty... it looks like it did the day i got it, trust me it works just spray and wipe on the plastic

whats the best for your motor tho?
would engine bright work fine?

Simple green is the best for your engine just make sure to wet the area first and be sure to get all of the simple green off. Also use automotive simple green not regular.

I use Eagle One All Wheel cleaner on my engine,rims,frame,and any other metal part. I use Armor All on my plastics and it works like a carm. But this time i tryed mop-and-glow and i hate it it barley shines it up and its sticky as hell!!

windex on plastic drys and still shines awsome wd-40 is a lube and doesnt dry making the mud and dirt wash off esier next time but also attracts it a lot esier

I use Purple Power, the stuff is crazy! It gets the nasty film that sticks to your frame and engine right off. Its only like $4.00 at Walmart for a gallon of concentrate, I use a 1:1 mix, just squirt it on and spray it off.

that purple power along with castrol superclean will etch aluminum and will take off anodize if you use it striaght or let it sit too long

I found that Sayco Power Wash does an excellent job. My opinion, it's 5 times better than Simple Green, and Simple Green is hard to beat. This stuff cuts grease and grime out of your chain and motor like crazy. I couldn't believe how strong it is. And best of all, it doesn't hurt anything. It's specifically made for quads and bikes. Smells like orange too.

Try to get a bottle of it and try it.

O COMON GUYS!!! WE ALL RIDE HONDAS, AND DONT YALL READ QUAD MAGAZINES? IF NOT, THEN YOU SHOULD, AND U SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ANY WAYS, just go down to your local honda dealership and ask for some plastic cleaner, its a can of honda plastic stuff that is about $6.00 and it works great, only problem is though, is that youll love it so much, ull be empty in about a week. trust me, it will be worth every penny

I don't use it straight, I use a 1:1 mix (i.e. 1/2 water, 1/2 Purple Power) and it doesn't harm a single thing.

The Sayco wash is safe on everything. I've washed my Cannondale with it numerous times and it never has hurt the aluminum or any powdercoating.

its a simple spray, just spray and wipe, thats it, it even repels dust, grime, dirt, the usuall stuff

that can of stuff, its great for every thing. i have a one industries seat cover right now, but when i had my stock one on, if u sprayed some of that on there, it made your eyes hurt...i loved it, it great for motors, billet products, frames, plastic[duh, lol]-----so in other words...GET IT...if u love that shiney product finish look, or that new look, or if u wanna go somewhere and pimp it up with your quad, use this stuff, im telling u man, its awsome

I work at a Honda dealership. and i would definetly have to agree w/ duncan racer on the Honda spray cleaner polish. it is some of the best stuff i have ever used. and the honda motorcycle wash is perfect to use while you are washing.

in the winter when i can use the hose i just use spray 9

..really i dont care about washing my waud all nice.. i just get it dirty right away anyways..

also simple green works good on spastics nad wd40 on ur motor espeically if u spray it on before u go rdind and then when ur lceanin it sparay it on there let it sit then power wash it off looks brand new...... oh wait my quad is brand new haha i love it to

When cleaning my motor for all of the hard to reach spots with that have grease. I use Greased Lightning just spray it on and
let it sit for a little and then hose it off. Then I spray a little engine detailer on my motor.

To make the plastics look nice, I read a tip in Dirtwheels to use Pledge furniture polish. I first tried a couple years ago and have been using Pledge ever since.

I use a pressure washer first, then I use purple stuff on the plastic, seat, and tires. I use Con-Coil (An A/C Condensor Cleaner- Aluminum Acid), to clean the engine and any other aluminum parts. After rinsing and drying off I put a little Duragloss 203 Vinyl & Leather Dressing on the plastic and tires. Be careful with it on the seat or you may slide off!

This method has worked well for me for years. This NC red clay can be some mean staining stuff too!

WORD! Belive it or not Rico knows what he is talking about here.

I have actually tried other detergents like Tide, All, etc... and WISK is the only one that does an awesome job. I use an old windex bottle and do a 70/30 water/Wisk mix, spray it on the the entire bike - bars to tires, let set a couple minutes and hose off with one of those Jet Stream type hose attachments. I was amazed at how awesome it worked.

you guys are gunna think im nutz but ive been using a low strength paint remover on my plastics for about a year now and it works like no other and has not harmed them yet, just be damn carefull you dont get it on anything else or youll be screamin, and for the rest of the machine i use a mix of wisk/oxyclean/fanstastic/water and i throw some pinsol in ther for some good smell works great

What makes me mad is right after i hose my quad off i run it up the street and then imeaditly have to wipe it all down if not it will get those dirt spots on it is there any product that will elminate those spots on my pc'd frame, plastic, and engine?

oh yea, i use regular car wash soap on mine and to get the grime and stuff off and the rust and everything, skid marks from boots etc, i have these white sponges that alls you gotta do it wet them a little and they take EVERYTHING off.....rust everything.....i think theyre made by mr. clean. works great.

Ummm I dont know what you guys think about removing all the Greese from your Chain but ......I can tell ya it's not a good thing to be using anything that takes greese away from your chain ,Chains arnt cheap especially good quality units .
I'd rather use WD40 and put up with a little dust rather than risk F$%*ing a perfectly good chain ......

why not? ... you are suppoesed to RE-GREASE your chain every-ride anyways .... as long as your re-grease it ... it will be fine

Cause anything that takes greese away from things like chains bearings and other greese and oil lubricated things is'nt good for those parts , Have you ever picked up a chain that you can hardly bend ? Chances are its been hit through out its life with high presure washers ,detergents and the like . Chains dont last once they have had the greese removed from them , Dunno about you but I use a Regina Gold Chain 520 ...Down here in Australia there not cheap @180 and a F$#@ed chain F$#@s Sprokets ....

the bearing on the quads have seals, and if u maintain your bike the stuff will be fine

i use engine degreaser & a wire brush...then a pressure washer...the engine degreaser stuff is cool too b/c you can use it on plastics & on your seat & its really cheap
