wow the raptor rides so much better like a cadi compaired to my 400ex!!!!!
why???
i noticed that my front shocks were set at 4 and the raptor was set at 3 will this help if i take mine down to 3???
what can i do to make it ride as good if not better or would i be better off buying a raptor??
please help the 400ex rides so harsh

I think you'd be much happier with the handling of your 400... If your riding type is slow trail rides, set your pre-load at a softer setting. The shocks on the Raptor are actually pretty decent, but I found I had to set the fronts at the stiffest pre-load, for the fast rides through the woods. The front doesn't dive in corners, and handles rough stuff better.

hey LT and raptor rider....do u have a pic of your LT??

no i like to ride the fast trails with lots of rocks, whoops and jumps
and the raptor seems to handel so much better but feels a bit ockward to ride it feels to high

you could always have the raptor dropped down to solve your height problem

Yeah, I went from a 350X to a Raptor, and it felt like riding a tower. But with a little patience and some body english, you can throw a Raptor around real well. It just take a little practice.
