should i use silicone on my rear hipers to keep them from leaking....or are there enough bolds on the rings to prevent that

you should not ever have to use silicone on rims bead locks clamp the bead so you should have no problems

There will be no need to use silicone. If it leaks you haven't got the bead set right. The ring will pinch the bead to the rim and it will be tight.
