how many 400ex do u guys still see at the track - mx or xc

i still see alot, just curious how many people have jumped ship off their 400ex to something else
i still see alot of trick 440's around
and most of the winners are on ex down here still also esp in mx the guys with the yfz's dont have them suspension mods yet to match the ex's
just curious to how it looks outside the southeast

It was about the same way at our indoors last week.
It still comes down to the rider though. Any certain quad isnt going to mean your gonna win you still have to know how to ride.

THere are still quite a few at the MX tracks around here, but they are slowly dwendling out....I'll have mine for another year

There are still plenty at the local xc races. As long as there aren't many wide open sections where you can really use all that extra power, the 400ex does great. After all, it's all about who is going to hold it wide f'ing open!

yeah on the xc tracs ive rode there aint a whoe lot of strait aways so it dont matter
i still like my 400,

At the mx track there are still a fair number of 400's. Mine is probably the most stock. Most are built 416's or 440's. The Z has become popular around here as of late.

I am afraid there will be an ever increasing number of yzf 450's and the crf450's at the track this year. It is gonna make it harder to hang with them than ever before.

400ex's are VERY VERY popular around here! there are usually around 4 or 5 in the A classes and quite a few in the B class.

a member on here mxracer89 races a 440ex and hardly ever gets beat in the B class...

i've only seen 1 400ex at the track...other than thats there are alot of Z's around

nice ride

i'll be posting some pics of my 400ex soon... i just finished undergoing major alterations and more to come. I'll see you at some district 6 and 34 races sometime... i'll mainly be racing walden, diamondback, maybe atco, sleepy hollow and others
