front rims offset or not

I been thinking of ordering new front rims to put 20 inch front razr mx's on, but cant decide wheather or not to go offset rims?
I want to change shocks later to elka long travel. Does that mean I have to change a-arms as well? I read some posts saying that with extended arm's on the 450r its getting more bump and steer?

In order to have long travel shocks you have to run long travel a arms. Bump steer could maybe increase slightly with wider a arms (almost ever racer uses steering stabalizers), offest rims to make your front end wider will cause bump steer tremendously which is defenently something you dont want to deal with on a track, hope this helps you out

Doh thats not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the reply.

I guess I better start saving money then to get arms and shocks all at once.

wider a-arms wont cause bumpsteer. If you plan on getting maybe +3 long travel a-arms get 4+1 offset rims, it will bring you back to +2 width and have less bumpsteer do to the wheel offset.
