Thanks guys...yeah, I'm planning on getting Sand Stars for both. 20x11x10 rears and 21x7x10 fronts on Douglas .190s...should help out quite a bit, especially after the engine mods I have planned!

We're thinking of going this spring but we aren't sure about sound levels. Were they checking anyone for dB's?

I only saw them checking sound levels on a weekend day...and from what i remember, they were only checking the absolute loudest bikes.

They did, however, check every person for a spark arrestor.

If you're quiet rolling through the entrance gate, they most likely won't stop you, but then again, i've only been there a couple of times.

FYI Jay, if you're planning on being there on Memorial Day weekend, I highly recommend heading towards the entrance gate or voucher center (if they're using it by then) several hours before they open. Otherwise, you'll have to wait 4+ hours like I did this past September...

Let me know if you guys need any more information.

If you go on memorial day plan on waiting in the voucher line for a while because they only let so many trucks with trailers in there parking lot is only so big get in line early or you may ,miss out.I ride there two or three times a year but the three day weekends are fun but get your parking lot voucher ..............Chris

i should be up on memorial day, not sure where we are camping and whos going but ill be there with the EX and my yz400 or in a red 2001 jeep rolling on 33inch swampers.

Silver Lake State Park is located in Mears, Michigan...very fun place to ride IMHO.
