The rest of the team stayed home (wise decision from what I hear)

It must of been bad if a 4X4 took the am overall. Haven't talked to Doug yet.

Good Job Everyone!

Posted by: Lil - Braff

I talked with Traci after the race and she seemed to be in good spirits. Hope her arm is okay though. Please keep us updated TJL!
It was VERY muddy! I think someone told me that they changed the course almost 3 times during the AM race!
My dad (Braff1) finished 8th in the C33+, Steve (rancher1) finished 5th in first years, Bradley (Bradley300) finished 6th in the sport class. Results are up on the site so go check it out.

Well after walking 9 out of the 11 miles on Sat I figured that track was going to be a huge mess and it pretty much was, and it was, a long track that had everything but hills it was VERY rough through several areas,I am not sure if it is someone on here or not but where we were parked in the first field after the finish line there was a line through a fence and there was a ridder that was off his bike and was trying to push it out and a another ride cam through and hit him and injured him VERY bad this is where EMS was, I hope some one reports him he took off and never looked back after he his the guy. If some one got his number tell racers productions and ME and I will beat the hell out of him for that, That put a bad feeling over the day knowing that if I was stuck infront of him he would have just ran my leg over too. I started dead last off the first year races line and then ended up 4 out of that class and 72 over all not bad for the first race on the cannondale, Hope everyone had a good race.

Posted by: Meek

Thanks POPO

I rolled my quad over on it's side, and was to warn out to tip it over. All of a sudden this guy wearing a cape with an S on his chest ran to my rescue, and it was POPO.

Thanks

Posted by: holeshot19

i hit a rut wrong and bent my tie rod hopefully the quys over at the mechine shop can make me some out of stainless steel and i need rear pads for a 450r are they anyother bike or quad that takes the same pads thanks oh there for a trx450r

Posted by: jlhughes750

the small bone behind the pinky is called the metacarple, most likely the 5th metecarple... if its truly broken and not a minor fracture she should expect about 6 weeks in a hard cast.

Hang in there Traci!!! Hope it heels up quick, don't rush it.
We'll be thinkin of you and hoping for a quick recovery!!!

The Hughes family.

Posted by: CBRSLIDER

Congrats to those that did well. Traci sorry to hear about your wreck. Atleast you will be alright.

I unfortunately broke the same bone in my left hand along with two cracks in the bone behind my ring finger and a crack in the bone behind my middle finger. All those set me in a hard cast for 6 weeks plus rehab. And I believe jl is right, they are metacarples. They are a pain to heal. The cast went from past my finger tips to my elbow. So hang in there and take care of yourself. Don't rush it and injury yourself worse.

Ray

Well I sucked and I'll just leave it at that.

Posted by: Bonnie Cook

It was incredible seeing all the Mid East boys in Florida and kicking up a lot of Black Sand. I cheered for as many as I could see, but just want them all to know how proud of them I am...

Traci, I love you and you are in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Don't worry, Championships can be won in the second half of the season and you proved that last year.

Congrats Bryan on an awesome ride. Santo, the podium misses you, hurry back there.

Get better girl and let that thing heal fully, don't short change yourself and get back on the quad too soon.

Thank you for all the thoughts, concerns and prayers. I have a hairline fracture on my ulna bone (forearm area). My arm is very bruised and swelled. I am not in a cast. I have a forearm splint to wear. The Dr. says the healing time is minimal. I wish I knew who was behind me when I wrecked because I would like to thank him for picking the quad up off of me. I’ll see ya all in GA!
