Does anybody know if some out there makes a plastic rasied hood (like the quad tech hood) i really don't want to pay for carbon fiber

No plastic scoops out there. You can either get a Maier smooth hood for pretty cheap or I have a Fibe Industries fiberglass scoop.
Its a good product, Ive turned it over a time or two and it hasnt cracked or anything.

the maier vented hoods are really nice...only 20-30 bucks too...
