Eddy, just plug the hole. Tell Vic that he shouldn't let the RPMs trop that low anyway. Maybe he'll believe you. Or, I believe C&D sells a screw that can be adjusted without removing the carb.

You can order it from the dealer. There is also a washer , o-ring and spring that go on the screw.
