i noticed that noone has heelguards on there nerfs when they freestyle or race. So do they just buy standard nerfs or are there special nerfs?

just normal nerf but some people don't like heelguards

Posted by: 250EXking

a lot of people buy nerfs with pegs built in and forget about the heel guard.

witht the ac pro pegs arent the heel guards built in?

Posted by: 250ex3

yea some come with some dont i no ac makes them with heel guards my dg's didnt come with heelguards

i was running my stock heelguards on my gibsons untill they broke off now i run no heel guards

AC racing makes pro pegs with heel gaurds make into them!

can u take the heelguards of the ac propegs, or would you have to cut them?

Posted by: Nausty

no you can take them off of the nerfs, they work alright but they bend pretty easy. You can also run regular nerfs and run stock heel guards. I run the ac pro pegs but i'm going w/ a custom set up now.

I'm running regular ac nerfs, bolted up to pegs welded together so I can have fatter pegs and i'm rigging up our modify'd ac racing pro peg heel kicks to fit it.

should be a nice set up i think.

well what kinda nerfs are on August Goebels Pimped out 400ex?

Posted by: rollie

i think those are the old style AC pro pegs the ones with the heel gaurds just came out ...i think

I prefer DG standard nerfs. I don't like how the AC nerfs attach into the pegs. I feel more comfortable with the DG's and think they have more support.

i have dg nerfs with doublewide pegs, its awsome!!

I have Pro Armor nerfs which are nice. They have a built in heel guard wich extends all the way up to the rear plastic. I have had times when I jump, or get crazy going through the trails were my foot will slip off the peg, luckily the heel guard was there or I would have ran over my own damn leg
