Thought id post a pic and see what you'll thought about my bike hope this works

The orange and blue is hott. Whats with the short ***** pipe.

Posted by: hogglett

heres the front view

Posted by: hogglett

I took my megamaxII pipe and cut it down to 10 inches and it helped the power everywhere so when my buddy kinked his WB pipe I cut it down and started using it I cant really tell a difference between the two pipes but the WB looks much cleaner

what kinda cam is that in ur 406... i love orange quads...

Posted by: max400EX

Did you have to make the head pipe any longer to compensate?

Posted by: R-Crazy

i think he cut it off the other end an moved the WB sign. not a bad idea since the WB pipe sticks out. if you wheelie, not a bad idea. probably louder with a little more power.

I is a little louder but I only run on the track so I wasnt worried about the sound. The engine has 10.8 to 1 JE piston .040,
K&N filter ,FCR39 carb,LRD MX race cam, hardened rockers,Kibblewhite valve springs with TI retainers, Hoggmoly racing port work, Hoggmoly racing modified valves, FMF powebomb header, and Hoggmoly racing WB silencer

Well now I know what mine will look like sense Im wanting to go orange with blue graphics. Im hoping the orange comes as the new shiny plastic.

Posted by: kaneman23

Hey hoglett I kinked my e series today doing a wheelie. How did the pipe perform after your buddy kinked his? Mine isn't kinked very bad but a little crushed on top near the mounting bracket welds. Think it is ruined? I hope not, cause I just put the thing on today.

Later,
Justin

I honestly dont think that it will hurt the performance of yor machine if it isnt any more than what you said .. the one im using was hit in the rearend by a raptor at a GNCC race and it was almost halfway together

Posted by: kaneman23

Hey thanks for the quick response. I didn't think it would hurt the performance but, I hate breaking something the first day I get it...lol.. I will get the TC or something shorter next time. Thanks,
Justin

Nice ride hogglet. It's nice to see a 400ex by another color than red or yellow. All you need now is a freshly powder coated frame and your quad will be totally pimp.

Posted by: MOOCAZEN

WHERE DID YOU GET THE MESH IN THE CARBON HOOD, I HAVE IT , BUT WHAT DID YOU PIT IN THERE

Posted by: hogglett

I just cut the mesh a little bigger than the hole and too some black silicone and put a bead around the inside of the hole and pushed the mesh into it

Posted by: Clay

I have the orange and blue on my quad. I want one of those hoods. EXACTLY like that. What kind is it? It looks kinda clear. What kind is it and where did you get it? For how much? Thanks. Heres a pic of mine.

Posted by: Moto92

I know its a Quad Tech hood. I just saw an ad in a mag that Denton Racing was selling them. I think they are around $165

Posted by: hogglett

It is a Quad Tech hood and i got it from K&K ATV one of my sponsors this year I think they retail for 165.00

Posted by: Moto92

Hey Hog...I notice you are from KY
Are you going to attend our Turkey Bay ride In april
Id love to see your quad in person

Posted by: fooracer

Thats a really sweet 406 hogglet. The blue number plates on orange look awesome.

Posted by: hogglett

No I'm not going to be at the ride but if I can keep the bike together till the National at London I'll be there

Posted by: JhallettEX
