Ok gang, trying to put together a Badland's ride. Thinking May 22nd & 23rd.... Any suggestions.. Or maybe june 5th & 6th...?

We have a bunch of people going down March 13. May 22-23 is Nationals at Redbud so I'll probably go watch that.

I'd say 5-6 but thats also the weekend of the Casey Ill GNC, but i guess we can't work around everyones schedule. I just want to know what happend to the thread in the Open Forum, stupid kid

a big group of my buds are going to badlands this weekend 3-20-04 weather is suppost to be good~

and we will also be at redbud may 22nd and 23rd
but june 5th and 6th sounds great. count me and niki in
i am glad that kid got banned for messing up the other thread.

also is any one going to the open ride at red bud on the 28th?
i'll be there trying out my 450r.

I will be #49 on a 250x in youth production..i will be easy to see because i will probably be on podium..haha

Hey Brian what's up? I've never been to an open ride... What do I need to do if I want to ride (or should I). Being a beginner on the track may not be good for other riders..

I might go to check it out..

That's cool that you guy's are still on for June..

it will be my first time for the open ride also. all you need is nerf bars, and a kill switch. helmet, long pants, boots, and long sleeves, you know standard stuff.

what they do is open both tracks to different groups of riders, like bikes on one track and quads on the other, and rotate.

i talked to people that have been there before and they said dont worry about being a beginner.
so hopefully it will be fun and i dont get run over by any kids.....
if you can go let me know so we can meet up.

Well if the weather is decent i'll be there. I have a race the day before at Log road, so if i survive that along with my quad i'll be there. #722 and i'll try not to run u over

That was my first time at the badlands, and i liked the big hills, i just wasnt all that impressed with trails.
Like i know it takes alot to maintain trails, and for 15$s a day i think that some trails could be groomed a little more!

But hey it was fun!!

i dont think the trails there have ever been groomed and i have been riding there since the place opened as matter of fact i helped cut alot of the trails there

I thought the hills was cool but I don't think we seen all the trails every time we would leave to trail ride something would go wrong and when we rode and kirk was in the truck we hit the same trails as earlier because none of us knew where we was goin

I had the same prob when i went.. Same dang trail... Hopefully next time I can explore a little more.

My buddy Jeff and I will be heading down sometime in April. My camper was ransacked by this nasty little field mouse during storage. Little turd caused 1k in damage to the canvas...
I'll be replacing that hopefully next week and then we'll decide what day we'll be there.

I'll keep everyone posted. Hopefully meet some more of you people..

I'll be a tour guide for the group. We go so much, it gets alittle boring. But I'ld like to meet the group and have a good time. Shot a date and we'll attempt to make it.

We were trying to get something set up for the 5th and 6th, in a thread that I'll bump up in a second. I geuss there's a race at Haspin on the 6th though. There's also a good diesel show in muncie, and my buddies told me it was that weekend, maybe we should try to plan some other weekend.

Glad to hear it! Sometimes (ok well every time) when we go riding I tend to feel outnumbered, and my skills don't match up to theirs and I get yelled at for being pokey and well...that one time...when I was going up a steep hill and got stuck and hit the back break instead of the front break and about flipped over - ok I deserved to get yelled at.
