im just wondering what people are going to be doing with the new 450, and other performance related quads. will they be used on the track? MX,TT,oval or XC? or to just play around on in the woods and normal trail riding? or going to the dunes?

and for the trail riders, why do you need that much of a quad in the woods? just wondering bacause i have a 300ex and thats all i would want to use in the woods. i know i suck trail riding but with the new quads such as the yfz and the 450r you cant use a lot of the power they have to offer.

I just trail ride mine. I had a 250X that got stolen last year so I bought a new 400EX then sold it for the 450R. Yeah a 300EX would work but I like the extra power. I also take it out on the highway and the acceleration is really nice there. It's also good for riding wheelies.

Oh and one more thing. Electric start on a sport quad is TOTALLY GAY! I don't see CR's with a starter, same thing. I hated that my 400 had a battery and starter. If you're too lazy to kick it over, just stay on the couch.

i would just wondering, mine will be tracked only, along with my 250r's. my ex is slow but it is enough for me in the woods. plus when i flip my ex im not as hurt seeing it get messed up. i want to add the 250x kick start to mine ever since i was stuck in the woods at night and a fuse blew.

I have been riding my 250r with a big bore 350PV kit in the woods for the past year, and I love the power, at times its a bit much, but after riding that in the woods, my Yamaha warrior felt way too slow. I really do like a 4stroke for woods riding hence I'm getting the 450r and not the yfz. Anyhow, I plan on using this partime down in the sand also... I figured this bike will pickup where my warrior left off, and when I need some real power I'll just hop back on my other R and have fun.

I use mine to smoke Yamaha's! J/K I basically use it for trail riding and riding in the nj pine barrens and quarrys down the shore.

Well I've always been mostly into sand rideing but now I'm thinking of doing a little raceing. I decided to turn my ATC into a go fast dune drag bike and have my 450R be my trail/woods/race/play dune bike
