MY dealer said the 03 and 04 crf450 oil filters are differant... So I got the 04 one, and its the same part # as above that 29FTEX posted.

The one the dealer gave me has part# 15412-HB6-003 and then I seen a different # on the service Honda web site so I just want to make sure I have the right one before I take it apart

The CRF filter is the same. The old # was 15412-MEB-671. It has been replaced with 15412-MEN-671. Honda was shipping the MEN part #'s then made them unavailable. They told me the filters are the same but would not be shipping anymore MEN's until the 22,000 MEB's were sold through. That was 3-4 weeks ago. I just reordered the MEB's and the # changed back to MEN. If your dealer has either they will work. Hope I didn't confuse you too bad.

I can tell you that I got my info right off the TRX450R microfische and I have not heard of that part #. Tommorow I will try and find out about the one you've got. It may be a new #. I know that we don't stock that #, but am unsure what it fits.
