nod~ guy will be 12 in march thats bout 6 years behind bradly

getting old sux!

***WARNING**** dont fall asleep in the back seat of meeks minivan!

Posted by: SECCRS

Guys I live here in FL and why drive all the way to Croom when you have Ocala National Forrest only 15 minutes from the start line. I would recommend though you carry a GPS since there are so many trails out there. But the northern part of the park isnt as whooped out as the southeren area if you ask me.

Check out these 2 sites for good places.

www.floridaquadriders.com
www.atvflorida.com

If you guys want to get together let me know. I will be at the GNCC but I hurt my tail bone so I havent had much seat time lately and I need to get it in shape for those 3 hours.

Think I will be heading up to Durhamtown after FL round. I understand they have a trail just built for racing purposes. Its only about 20 min from Aonia (RND 3).

www.durhamtown.com

If your coming down the week prior to the RND 2. There is a Florida Trail riders race the saturday before at the infamous GATORBACK.

www.floridatrailriders.org

As for being warm, its 60 right at 9:05 am with overcast sky's had about 3 inches or rain in the past 24 hours. I'm in Jacksonville about 1 hour north of Palatka. One thing about that area where the race is, is its sugar sand so it tends to dry up a little faster. Yes I know I was there last year, but hell it rained 8 inches the 24 hours prior to the race.

if you fell asleep in meeks van then meek needs lessons or viagra

I dont care what the reason is, im just glad to have some woman out there droppin the hammer and handin out *** kik'ns

Posted by: SECCRS

Also if anyone is in need of a place to stay, Ill have my RV there And there is a king size bed not being used and the whole back garage area that we can close up and put down a air matress.

So if you dont want to haul the rv all they way down let me know.

This is only for the Friday sat and sunday. My buddies that race the bikes will be there on Monday and tues.

Doug
doug@seccrs.com

Only thing is you might have to re-pay so I dont have to haul this thing all the way up north.

Posted by: RacerGirl47

Hi All,

I will be there...this will be my first GNCC race. I am stoked...can't wait!!

I race in the Hare Scrambles put on by the Florida Trail Riders. As SECCRS mentioned...there is a race the Saturday before at Gator Back (where the ATV Nationals were held). Hope some of you can make it

www.floridatrailriders.org

Looking forward to Palatka and getting the chance to meet some new people

Funny that's what we said about Texas.

Posted by: intruder

Did you see Dallas got 4 inches of snow the other day. Florida has to be warmer than that. I've been watching the weather and it almost hits 70 everyday.

Posted by: SECCRS

Yeah we have been in the lows of around 50 and the highs been all the way up to 80 the other day. But as I say its rained almost every day for the last week. Its raining agian now, and suppose to clear out they say tues. But one cold front comes in and where right back to where you are 30's and raining and freezing are butt off.

THE CALL THIS THE SUNSHINE STATE BUT LORD ITS ALWAYS RAINING.

Doug
doug@seccrs.com

Posted by: yamadooski

Yep its been warm.
But if you guys are gonna be here for a few days why practice in Ocala NF?
Sure its close but the trails are as wide as snowmobile trails up north.
Crooms has tight trails with woops and ruts just like you will have the GNCC race.
See ya all at the race.

Posted by: *$BlueFlash$*

I cant remember the name of it, but there is a place in Plakta thats a riding park I went to last year with my dad Chad Duvall. It was very good for 4 wheelers and motorcycles. It is tight but not as whooped out as Croom. Maybe if you have problems at FL and want to test before GA, the perfect place is Durham Plantation, which is very tight. It has a motorcross track and you can ride all day for a small price around $25.00.
And they serve lunch and Breakfast.
Also did anyone get to see Motorworld the other day?(sunday AM) I was flipping around and stopped on Spike TV channel and Motorworld was on. Just by chance I seen them advertise for what was coming up after the break and it was ATV race tech tips to get started racing. Bill and Chad where on there(the TX race). It was pretty good! Maybe they will rerun it.

They dont really add horsepower but for each sticker you apply you can expect to atleast knock off a second per lap!!

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

I heard that with the new Sahara gear, there is zero wind drag for even more off your lap times!

Posted by: MooseRacing

In wind tunnel tests the new Moose Sahara gear was shown to decrease the coefficient of drag thus creating greater acceleration and in turn improving lap times by 10 percent!

Posted by: MooseRacing

Pics of new Sahara on the Moose Racing website

Is the Jersey vented in the back too, or just under the arms? I just got back from riding and its only 57 and im already sweating my tale off. Let alone a couple more months when its 90+ outside.

I get so hot when I ride. I had to drop out of a race once from overheating. Every little bit helps.

Do you have any riding gear that helps hold the quad together so I can complete a lap and that 10% matter?

you will wear the pink skirt and like it

NO NO NO NO I had a talk with Laz while we were in Texas and he said he was more than willing to wear the pink skirt. kinda scared me I think he got excited when I told him

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

I think Laz has enough punishment having to ride with Johnny C to all the races.

well i spoke with laz and since he is a devoted father, a religous man and an all around good feller i told him i would respond to your statement:

" you will wear a full length PINK evening dress with I AM A HOMO emblazened across your back

Posted by: GNCCer

papapsie you are making me angree

I am going to kik you the next time I see you!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: MooseRacing

Yes the jersey incorporates 3 different meshes: the front is TC100 mesh, upper arms is Micro Mesh and lower arms is Porthole Mesh....in which it wraps all the way around accross the back!

Remember, a lot of 2-stroke guys ruined their engines last year. At least with the 4-stroke it's only the top end that gets chewed up.

good thinkin, but the blaster is still under warranty!

I think I also need to mention that she only has one speed WFO and I hope your rev limiter works.

Posted by: SECCRS

Well today is not a good day I finally tore my motor apart after this past weekends H/S. And I had a feeling what it was going to be and today it was confirmed. I blew it up . I pulled it apart and the cyclinder wall was scared to hell.

So even though I only live 45 min from Palatka, I wont be racing .But I guess ill be riding a 440 EX here in the near future.

Its rained every day since monday. And suppose to continue on till friday and clear up then. There is some standing water but nothing to major. So as long as we dont get any more rain the course should be very good.

SNOW!! We are getting a bunch of snow throughout the day and tonight. Probably 6-12 inches along I-77. We shut stuff down in NC for flurries so I hope those that have to come through NC will be OK. I live about five miles from I-95 and am hoping to leave early in the morning, but near the NC/ SC border at I-95 they already have a couple inches of snow and it just started.

Well it has stopped snowing, we got about 3-4 inches and most of it has melted off the road, so that's good for now. Forcast is for between 1 an 3 inches overnight which might lead to bad roads, I'll update in the morning for the I-95 travelers.

I will be there early sunday morn unless something weird happens. If you guys are going down I-95, I live close in the area of Brunswick, Georgia. Thats about 60 miles below Savannah, Georgia. Honk when you go by.
Oh, its been raining ALOT down this way, looks like its clearing up. Heres the forecast.

Well I'm getting ready to walk out the door. If any of you see us stop and say hi. I'm sure we'll be the only idiots at the race track in a Lincoln Aviator. We're pulling a small white trailer and I'm riding a silver/blue cdale. Anyone else staying in Florida all week and catching Georgia on their way back?

Still on a go to be in Florida for the race.
Monkeyboy said he would be there and invited me to have some of his "homebrew" and a trip to the jiggly bar.

Im all for tha jiggly bar, but I might pass on the homebrew after watching this video footage from the last batch he made.
