I wasn't sure what forum to put this in so im sorry if it is the wrong one.

I need to know where to get a stock size plastic gas tank for a 250x/300ex. I have cracked 3 of the stock metal ones racing mx. All i have found are oversized(3.2 or 3.7).

let me know if you can help...btw..stock size is 2.2

sorry to tell u but stock size i think is 3.2 thats just with reserve.

Clarke has 3.7 gal. tanks...got it from Nac's

KNow where i can get s stock size plastic one?

thanks for moving the thread pappy. The smallest i have found from Clarke or IMS is 3.2

I would go ahead and get the 3.2. Look at it this way you will still be saving weight going to a plastic tank over the metal ones that come stock.

Plus you don't have to fill it up all the way if you're trying to save on weight.
