i will never by another DG product again. i have both the alloy series nerfs and bumper. bent the alloys with in the first month(and they rusted) by standing on them. i just got done trail riding a little bit ago , looked down at the front of my quad and sure enough my bumper was bent back on one side. i dont think i even hit anything, if i did it wasnt enough to notice.

You should have asked around before you went and bought them DG products, almost everyone on here would have told you that they are crap, and not to buy them. I went with AC and have been very very pleased with them

thats what i heard bro....i didnt say i said it...but back on subject...id rather spend 200.00 on my ac pro pegs any day and not worrie about them breaking, instead of spend 150 on dg and they break a few days later

Last I heard, DG = Dollar General

My DG alloy series nerfs are bent!! They didn't last very long. I can actually bend the bar up and down with my my hand. There made out of material similar to aluminum foil.

I'd say a soda can

should have gotten ac

Posted by: PerfectZer0

thank god i saw this thread i was about to get their nerfs

Posted by: hondarider2006

anyone that is going to buy DG products, DON'T!!! Cheaply made...and the quality just isn't there. If you don't care about your money, or just have a bunch to waste, DG sounds great for you. If not save up, and spend a little more on AC Trust me its worth it.

I've never had problems with DG's skids so I can't say the company is completly junk. Who ever designed their nerf bars needs to put alot more time and make a design closer to what AC offers.

DG = JUNK
Enough said.

I bought 2 DG skid plates, one for my 400 one for the wife's. Both bent into the rotor. A couple years later I bought 2 full chassis skids, one for hers one for mine. They didn't bend, they just rattled like a mutha! They also didn't come with a hole to drain the oil out of the cases! You either have to remove the skid each time or drill your own hole in the skid. My Tim Farr pro pegs have held up well though.

take them off each time you want to change your oil?? That right there would make me not buy them.....I would eaither go with PRM or AC body skids

Posted by: Evan400ex

My DG Baja body skid came with a hole in it to drain the oil. Are you sure you bought DG's because every DG body skid i've seen comes with an oil drain hole.
