turns out my dad doesnt give a**** if my 300ex stays outside... he put a lot of **** in the garage and the only way I could store mine is parking it standing on the grb bar.... My question is.... if I turn the petcock to off, the let quad idel until it dies and store it standing up will the quad leak gas or oil ???

It shouldn't. I trailer mine that way from time to time and I've never seen a leak.

if your going to store it for awhile, you may want to go ahead and empty the gas tank. Otherwise, you should add some fuel stabelizer and top off the tank. But, with a a full tank, the possibility exhists that the check valve in the gas cap will leak

...soooo, i would just empty the tank....

well I ride it around my neighbohood 2-3 tiumes a week.... so I dont wanna drain the tank... I'll try it that way and will let you guys know if it leaks...

if your going to be riding it just dont fill the tank up. just turn the gas off and tip it up and whats left in the bowl will pour out and that will be it.

i stored mine like that before for a week, just turn the gas off and ull be fine
