Just wondering where is the cheapesr place to buy a smooth hood such as a Maier? Also, exactly which model do I need? The '86-'87 250R hood? Thanks.

It's a 250R smoothy hood and I don't think the years matters. I ordered mine directly from Maier.

Looks good Rico. How much did that run? I know that Nacs sells them for $26.95, and I think RMATV has them for about $25.

Nac's has the shiny, smooth Maier hoods for $35 after shipping, so I'll most likely get one from there.

I just finished my hood tonight, and I'm wondering the same thing. I guess you could zip-tie it to the frame?

I circled were the key switch is. I drilled a hole in teh plastic and mounted it on the side. Looks like it was made to be that way. And the neutral light i just stuck down in the cable holder bracket that is on the steering stem bracket.
