The hood actually looks black until the light hits it, It just an accent piece, not really wanting to match it up with the frame.

btw...i love that blue in that hood. i tried calling them for the last 2 days and i was gonna ask about a dark blue for my R. does the blue only show in direct light:?

Yeah, I took it out of the box and was like WTF, i didn't order black, then I got it under the light and it started blingin' the blue

its a bit darker in person, at first i didnt like it but after awhile (and i washed my eyes out) it looked pretty sweet. sorry, i couldnt get the silver flake to show up on the pics

Pappy, do you ship the frames by UPS and if so about what does that run, a buddy of mine bought a frame from a guy and he said that UPS will not ship it (which I don't believe), sorry this was not about the post.

they will ship them. a 400ex has to have the sub removed and shipped seperate or fastened inside of the main frame. it usually runs about $40 or under depending on where you are shipping too. R frames, and banshee's ...well ya gotta fudge the numbers to keep it under the limit by an inch or two

but i havent had any troubles. i shipped over 90 frames last year and ups hauled them all.

the post office will also ship them....same with fed ex. most of the time if you try and box a frame it exceeds the size limits.

hey brian, you put together a pretty sick ride. i personally like the skull graphics better. I was wondering if you have done any engine work to your Z yet?? Getting my motorwork done is probably the best thing i've done to my 400.
