Who alls goin to Vanleer and whats the land and track like? Im new on this series and really don't know what to expect?

Well me, my dad, and a few other people from kentuckyriders are headin down that way. I'm not racing but my dad is. As far as what to expect...I'm not sure. But Good luck and I'll see ya there. What class are you racing?

me and another guy will be there, he was racin c class but i think hes movin up next race and ill be in beginner since its my first race, anybody know whats up with the new race they added in monteagle?

Vanleer can get really bad if it rains.Nothing out of the ordinary a couple of big hills,off camber and maybe a motocross track.There has allways been a small track or two one at the begginng and one about halfway through,a couple of years ago we got to ride the big track (1-1 1/2mi.)A very good event all around.

Yeah there was fairly decent turnout.......what a rough day......I bounced off a tree in about 4th gear warped my front rim then got stuck and couldnt get it out. Got in 1 lap.

Well we didn't make it to the race. Drove about 2 hours to Horse Cave, KY, (Munfordsville) ate breakfast and it was so icey and crappy outside that we decided not to. So we turned around and came home. Was a nice lil ride. So how did the race go?? Give us the details!!

I wasn't able to race, but I watched.

Jeff, you would have loved it. The parking area was about 4" deep with mud. The entire course was sloppy mud.

YEAH they cut the course alright. I dont really know Ricky lane but he sure was getting some really good lap times some how in 16-24 B for haveing the fastest first lap and then finishing 9th overall, sure wish i didn't miss PROTEST!!!! but i had to park 3 miles from sign up.

I was in the A class and 15 minutes into the race some riders that took off in the 16-24 B and C 16-24 class was right behind me. Im not saying any names just stating the facts, but yes lots of course cutters. I had someone tape the race for me from the scoring tent and the first 4 wheeler to make it a lap wasnt even a pro and I dont even think was in the first 3 or 4 lines to take off. That track wound back and forth to closely it made it easy to cheat.

Yeah Im lookin at lap times right now and some riders 2nd lap were 20 minutes faster than the first
