Posted by: Lasher

I will be racing in the NATVA series again this year.

Right now the only dates that are set are Jolly and Southwick. From their last email, they are working on 2 other possible tracks and waiting to hear from Walden. I guess Walden needs to vote on the NEATV.

Yeah I was talking About Tommy. He sold the Laeger he bought for Semini. Now he just got a Walshcraft.I think he might of went to Walden yestewrday.I race with him Here on long island.

I plan on running the whole NEATV-MX circuit this year. For those of you who are not familiar with NEATV, their web site is www.neatv-mx.com See everyone at the races

Anyone know of any good practice tracks in northern NY? I live in northern VT and there isn't sh*t up here for tracks.

Posted by: Lasher

Redrizza - there is Eagle Bridge NY. It is the only one that I know of in that area that allows quads. I have not been there in over a year but you can visit the website at www.ebmx.net

I know there a track called Derby near the border of VT and Canada. I am not sure if they allow quads or not.

Posted by: redrizza

Thanks for the info Lasher. I rode down at Eagle bridge last season, on their last practice day. As far as I know that is the closest quad practice track. Unfortunately Rider Hill in Derby only does bike races. They don't have a quad class, and they don't do practices at all.

So, I guess my practice track will end up being Eagle Bridge. Unfortunately it's a 3hr. drive:grr

Raush Creek is in Pine Grove PA, it is 2 1/2 hours away from Oak Ridge. They have 8 full size mx tracks and 3 of them are atv's only tracks no dirtbikes allowed. Its 25 bucks a person. They also have a sick supercross track. If you wanna head up there sometime with me and ride PM me. Its 1000 times better than Jack Frost.

Posted by: QuadRacer041

ok, ill try to get the guys i ride with together, and let you know

Posted by: Lasher

400exRacerX - I went to Jack Frost a little over a year ago. I went down with a group of racers, we stayed at one of the townhouses there for the weekend. We all thought that place was great, but you are saying that this place is even better?

Are there hotels close by? Are the hotels in a decent neighborhood so an enclosed trailer should be fairly safe?

You mentioned 8 tracks and 3 of them are atv only. Does that mean that we are only allowed on the 3 tracks? Does the three tracks include the supercross track as well?

What skill level are the atv allowed tracks? Such as in comparison to Jack Frost?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am hoping to get a another group of guys together for a weekend trip. We were thinking of Jack Frost, but if this place has more to offer, we may attempt a trip there in the next month or so.

Posted by: 400exRacerX

I have no clue about any hotels, but I'm sure you could stay at one near the highway.

Yes this place is way better than Jack Frost, it has 8 mx tracks and one supercross track. The way it goes is the quads are allowed on all the tracks but, the dirt bikes cannot go on the three atv tracks. They have a novice atv track, intermediate, and expert. The pics I posted are all from the expert track. The biggest double on the quad expert track is a 50ft double. There is way bigger jumps on the dirt bike coarses though. The people are nice and it is less crowded than jack frost.

Check out there site, http://www.rauschcreekracing.com/mxatv/main.php

Posted by: Lasher

Thanks...

The website for them says that the tracks are either bike only or quad only. But I guess they can change that if it is not too busy.

I noticed that in most of the pictures there was a lot of dust. Do they water there during the day?

Posted by: 400exRacerX

When I went it wasn't packed so they let us on the dbike tracks, but the guy that owns it has a 400ex and he is willing to slightly modify the rules if you know what I'm saying They dont have water at the track like jack frost they have a water trcuk come to the track.

Posted by: Lasher

cool.

I will try and get a bunch of the racers from up here together for a weekend trip. Hopefully he will bend the rules if there is large group of us. If we get it together, I will let you know.

Was it packed with bikes and quads or quads only?

Posted by: 400exRacerX

When I was there quads dominated, there was probaly about 15 dbike riders there and about 40 quaders.

Posted by: kc 300EX

You guys who race at Walden, Diamondback and Ace, would you mind telling me dates of actual races so I can come watch? I cant find any dates on that site, thanx

I don't have a number yet. I am just turning 16 so this is my first season racing quads. I used to race dirtbikes though.

Posted by: dawzie

What class are you guys running in? Last year in Dist.34 novice and expert where good size classes. Amature only had about six riders and three of them moved up and two more only need like five more points. We are doing all D-34 races and making any neatvmx we can.

'00 440ex stroker Cannon-bomb coming!!:blah
