I'm lookin at gettin an aftermarket bumper and i'm stuck on buyin one. Which is a good model to buy? Keep in mind, it Has to look good. Pics will be appreciated! Thanks

i wouldnt put dg on my quad if you paid me...them cheap arse nerf bars....ill stick with AC...my pro pegs are holding up just fine, my front bumper is holding up just fine too....

Not saying ac's are junk, but as far as strength for like woods riding and xc racing I would either go with prm, ive had one for a year and its still straight as an arrow, couldnt say that much for my old ac though, But i guess it depends on what kind of riding you do

I just gor a PRM Baja bumper I like it alot. There is a review on here for them http://www.exriders.com/productreviews/bajabumper.html They seem to be strong alot of the GNCC racers run them. hope this helps.

AC's new bumper is now swept backed and very nicely polished I just got it last week, its very nice.

I got mine off ebay from atvaddiction dirt cheap brand new still in wrapping for $65. Which is $25 less than what AC charges.

thats who i got my nerfs from...lewis does good deals on AC...i got my pro pegs off ebay from atvaddiction....185.00 shipped...considerin anywhere else was chargin anywhere from 200.00 to 250...and ac is charging 289.00...i also got my front bumper from lewis..

duncan bumpers are expensive....id rather have my AC...if i break my ac i buy a new 1 for less than what a ducan racing bumper cost

i have the PRM baja. Very nice bumper. I had a tough time deciding between the Ac and that though. I like them both very much. In my opinion i think the Ac looks a little better but i have heard that the PRM is a stronger bumper. And since i do alot of woods riding and running over small trees and bushes i want something to hold up.

I have a PRM desert, which has bigger tubing then the other PRM's and I still tweaked it hitting a tree during a XC race. And I didn't even hit it THAT hard.

i have a DG and the one thing i like most is how it sticks out farther than almost all other bumpers. its tough too, but not my favorite.

for looks, i agree that the duncan is sweet- $$ though.

i would go with the PRM baja, PRM is usually bulletproof although the bumper doesnt sweep the "looks" catergory.

BTW: arent bumpers supposed to take the shock of an impact, possibly bending to save your frame from getting tweaked?

they do take the impact....u cant go mow down a tree with a bumper tho....they take the impact when you hit something they bend....id rather replace a bumper anyday over a frame, a-arms, ect.

Heres a picture of my 400ex(Yes i know its dirty, i just got back from riding when i took the pic) with a Pro Armor bumper....I love it and think it looks good as well.....and for anyone who is wondering its lighter then the stocker and is stronger.

Ya, I just got them last night. I am sure you could put a hood on them. Not sure why, most of the time people put hoods on is because they have removed the front lights. I am not saying that if someyone gave me a carbon fiber hood that I would not put it on. It would get put on the next day, but nobody likes me that well, so I dont have to worry about that.

I had the AC mud screen, but after one arguement with a tree it was completely destroyed (crappy welds) i recently bought the TAG metals bumper the have it in both black and silver i got the black it looks awesome (like the duncan but not as expensive)

-DO a google image search for TAG BUMPER 400EX it should come up
