Hell yeah! I may try & see about hitting a couple KORR races. I'm a newbie to MX--can't wait to get started. I'll be racing my banshee if all goes well...when I get it running right again.

They just built an ATV MX track in our hometown, Winfield. You ougta check it out also.

Thought about checking out that track, gotta put a hitch on my car before I can take my quad anywhere now though. Raced some races at Dragoon in Lyndon, KS. I ride almost every Sunday at the Marion track. It's part of the KORR series. Dragoon, use to be part of the Sunflower series with the Inman track.

Hey Z400 chick,

What's your favorite track on the KORR series? I race a Lonestar/LRD 250r, mainly on MO. tracks, but I'm always looking for new options.

Marion's my favorite, 30 miles from where I live and can jump some of there jumps actually.....lol....Kansas Off Road Riders, is what it is, they have a website. It includes, Odin, Jeeps in Wichita, Marion. Jeeps have supercross races on Saturday nights. Night track thats really cool, but the jumps are a little too big for me....lol. I also race at Dragoon, in Lyndon, KS, south of Topeka.

dragoon is awesome the jumps are so cool its a great track to get started there are some big jumps but most are little go to www.dragoonmotocross.com for more info

What part are you from anyways? Dragoon is the only track I've raced at, but I ride everywhere. There's just a few things I had to kinda roll over, but it's a pretty balls to the walls track. Really fun stuff. The "popper" really fun too! Give it a try, hope to see you there sometime.

I need someone to beat anyways....lol...j/k.

kinda playing the Milford thing by ear for Sunday. Depends on the temps. If it's going to be at least 40 degrees, we'll go.
I try and ride there once a month or so. Excellent hills and tons of trails. In the heat of the summer it's great because after a long ride, we switch to shorts and go for a swim to cool off.

Looks like fun, are there quite a few fish in the lake as well? I've got to put a hitch on my car before I can go anywhere w/ my quad.

I don't even own a fishin' stick, I'm sure there are though. I've seen more than one snake! there is a gravel bed where everybody parks and quite a few people launch their boats and jet skis there as well. In the summer it's a cool place to hang out.

There are two places to ride near milford. One is by the lake, the other requires you to cross over the lake and about another 20 miles. Those trails are EXCELLENT!

There are some really huge hills and technical areas to ride. The last time I was there, some dirt bikes and an older guy on a predator was doing a hill that cuved up about 30 feet and then went straight up about another 50 feet.

It was one of the most radical things I had seen. There were alot of people there but not many takers on that hill!

I'm not much of a trail rider myself. I'm more into motocross tracks. I'm going to have to check it out sometime though. Ride, Fish, Drink, Sleep, all at the same place.....http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/j0/lightbul.gif

rode at Milford Sunday. 26 degrees. Wind blowing about 200mph!! cutting cold - the only safe place was deep in the woods between big bluffs. The lake was making this weird noise as the wind whipped it on the shore, squeaking the ice chunks together, making it look like someone shoveled up the ice. All this, and we still had a great ride!

I used to ride at school creek for years then moved and sold my bike, I havent been in years but it would be cool to visit milford again. I've climbed alot of the hills out there on my old KX 125 Big Red, the wall,widowmaker etc. I havent had time to swing out that way lately but I sure would like to meet some people and do some riding. I dindn't think school creek was that atv frendly but I could be wrong. There are miles of trails though. When are you all going out again? I live about 1hr away in manhattan ks and would like get my buddy and his raptor in the woods and whip him into shape on some trails.
