got a quick question about PCing 400ex spindles. They are aluminum with steel shafts. I think i can press the shafts out. Is it ok to pc them without pressing the shafts out? Has anybody tries to press the shafts out? i wanna pc them but dont know what to do

You don't need to press out the spindles, steel doesn't lose it's temper until about 1800 degrees. All you have to do is tape them off and plug all of the holes.

No need to press them out. They will be fine I just mask off the shafts and the insides of the holes where the ball joints go and shoot them. I havent had a single problem yet.
