justin

Posted by: pgregg85

Yea get to work you guys.

Posted by: YLW400

Tell em' Paul!

Jr, my definition of "work" is to type as much as I can in these forums in a work day

Posted by: pgregg85

nothing like getting payed to be a forum junkie

Posted by: YLW400

Life is good

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

JC-i have some news...

Posted by: jrspawn

Yup, im at my computer here, and sell stuff when i can, other than that, you see what i do.

Posted by: #88yfz

Did you buy a brand new yfz??I don't work that hhard either...

Posted by: YLW400

Faster, your not pregnant again, are you???

Posted by: seatec

I think i used to be the biggest forum junky in this thread.
THanks to my 12 step program i am cutting down.l i now frequent 12 boards!!

BTW. no way is JC racing my YFZ. lol maybe the old one

Posted by: pgregg85

#88 it was my brother-n-laws barely used in like new condition one

Posted by: seatec

Paul,
LSR tells me to run 4.5 deg caster and camber on my lt front end. would you agree with that? How much toe do you run?

Posted by: pgregg85

I would try 2 degrees of negative camber and make sure the wheels have about 1/4" of toe in on the front. Its easier to have someone help with all the measuring.

Posted by: zakk54

Seatec: I would definately run 2deg Camber with 1/4" tow in! I ran 4.5deg on my ex and it was almost silly! As far as Castor goes I would set it up by feel between 2 & 4deg! You dont want too little or the bike will yank you around at speed with the slightest bar movement!!

Posted by: seatec

ah great now i have take everything off again.

Posted by: zakk54

Did you already have it all set up???

Posted by: seatec

yup

Posted by: zakk54

Camber should be the easy one, Castor can be a bear and is the one to be carefull of!!! PM Me if you need a hand! I'll give you my phone# and we'll chat!!!

Posted by: pgregg85

Seatec, maybe we should just stick them on my yfz untill we get all these setup issues straight

Posted by: seatec

zak thanx for the offer. might take you up on it. Hey Paul HOw about we swap yfz all together and ill just ride your stocker around. NOT

Posted by: pgregg85

I dont even know what stock means, Ive already been ordering some parts.

Posted by: RTSE440

My toes usually point out...it's really hard to make'm point in...and then it hurts to walk.......................har har har.

Remember...you must have done it wrong if you think you got it right the first time. It's not a job well done unless you had to do it over at least 5 times.

Posted by: cletusEX

You usually have to ride it a few times in order to get the caster and camber right.

Posted by: 250RXCrider

I think that is only for us XC guys......I normaly hit a tree or two before the front end feels right

Posted by: RTSE440

Seriously though...If you need a hand Seatec, you know I'm always glad to help. You're welcome to bring it over here this weekend and we can fool with the settings then test it in the field.....should be pretty dry by Sunday. This wind will really help dry it out. Just let me know. I may be at your work tomorrow afternoon to do some PM's.

Yeah it gives new meaning to being broke in. What are you up too this weekend. I need to ride somewhere. Chucky talked to Dan about going back down to Bodie's I think on Sunday. I don't care where but I would like to get out and tear it up a little.

I am down with that or somewhere local. I need to do a couple of things to my quad on Saturday. Did Dan want to put the cam in this weekend?

He talked about it, but he also talked about doing the gauges in his truck. Brian said he had to work on his quad Saturday also. I'll talk to Dan tonight.

Posted by: seatec

Chris,
You have to check out what quick did to my AIr ducts. see if they did it right.

Posted by: RTSE440

Okay.

Posted by: pgregg85

Seatec, I will be working on my bikes Saturday if you want some assistance you can bring it over.

Posted by: seatec

Paul, don't you live in Delaware or something? Anyways, i appreciate the help but i think i can manage. i'll bring it up when i messed it up.

Posted by: pgregg85

No, I live in Frederick, MD.

Posted by: seatec

ok.

Posted by: mxdad

Anybody riding this weekend?

Posted by: seatec

i still dont know. how about we all convene at RTSE440
s place and do some semi flat tracking around his big ***** field.

Posted by: mxdad

What part of town is he in?

Posted by: seatec

Hunt valley!

Posted by: mxdad

Let me know.

Posted by: RTSE440

I might be able to work that out .

Posted by: Honda5

can I come over? I know where Hunt Valley is and all I am alloud to do is flattrack. (til the Dr. gives me permission to jump)

Posted by: RTSE440

Sunday maybe ? If it's a go....Dave consider yourself invited . Glad to hear that you are allowed to ride at all.

Seatec...do you think we can make it over to the other field in MX trim...I guess the tires would hold up for the transfer trip ? Only one rocky section....or we can just stay in my field.

I'll post in the morning to let you know if it's " do-able ".

Posted by: seatec

not woreried ab out the tires but my a-arms. lol

Posted by: RTSE440

Looks like we can ride here for a while tomorrow. Seatec, mxdad, Honda 5..you're welcome to come by. For tomorrow, I gotta limit it to just you guys for sound reasons. I know at least 3 of us have some pretty noisey set-ups . If you can make it, PM me for directions. How about 11 am ?

Posted by: seatec

looks like a go for me.

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

Anyone going to buddscreek sunday, (tomarrow) web site says track will be perfect, no mud. Just wanted to see if anyone was planning on heading up.

Posted by: jrspawn

I just picked up that ceet seat cover on ebay. I've been looking for an all red one with the "250r" on the side, and this is the closest I found. I don't want to get to far away from the stock look.

cool

Posted by: pgregg85

You guys missed some great practice at seaford today. I got to try out my new yfz in stock form. Here is Delaware152 and I breaking in a new double they added to the track.

Posted by: jrspawn

Cool pic paul. Sorry to here about donnie though, i hope its nothing very serious and he gets back out there soon. I was hoping on going today but couldnt make it with matt, he lended the hitch to the trailer out and didnt get it back.also needed to change his front springs, but it looks like you have to completly disassemble the shock to do it. Anyone ever replaced a spring on an axis shock? Can you do it without loosing any of the shock oil or nitrogen?

justin

Posted by: seatec

WOw, that is a hell of a double. Won';t catch me doing that.

Justin,
had a good time yesterday and it was nice meetin ya. Lets get organized and go to Rausch creek soon.

Posted by: #88yfz

How big is that double??? It looks big but smooth or is that the riders making it look that way!!How is that yfz paul?

Posted by: Delaware152

It's about 60 feet but if you clip it you are hurt. The hardest part about it was slowing down enough so you didn't over jump it and by the end of the day it had so nasty ruts going into the face. I jumped it a few times but my bike kept killing the battery. I rode Gil's yfz so I didn't want to jump it on his bike. Paul looked at home the stocker...he may have to try it out at a district race.

Posted by: pgregg85

The yfz was way better than I expected. I did the cam mod saturday night and it was good to go. Jt I will get you a copy of that picture, the original looks way better than that.

Posted by: YLW400

Yea , I don't think I'll be doing that one either....

Posted by: Delaware152

Paul have you looked at the results from Budd's..glad I went to Seaford. Check the the results from the B class. I didn't know you can drop down a class.

Posted by: Delaware152

quote:

You have to show up in order to jump it anyway. lol It's really an easy double. Have I ever told you wrong?

Posted by: pgregg85

I am glad I didnt go either. I checked the results and thats to funny, he could have at least won. I just don't understand people sometimes.

Posted by: Delaware152

I don't know if I could race a again after that. I hope there was a good reason.

Posted by: seatec

elnlighten us?? what are you guys talking about?

Posted by: Delaware152

I let Paul tell you..he is the troublemaker not me. lol Paul did you ever get your chain roller back.

Posted by: pgregg85

what do you think, I was waiting for you to tell him.

Posted by: seatec

Well, now i know and i wont tell you who told me.

it's kind of sad and funny though.

Posted by: jrspawn

Could someone please explain that one to me, heck PM me if you want. Not really understanding the whole thing.

justin

Posted by: agruszka

I think that you guys need stop running your mouths like a bunch of gossip queens, maybe if you were there you would have known the reason why ( I ) was in the B class Sunday on my new ( STOCK ) 450 that I just bought two weeks prior from sunday.

Posted by: #88yfz

My stock yfz handled A class and buddscreek wonderful when i tried, even pulled the holeshot ask del152.LOL

Posted by: pgregg85

Im going to race my stock yfz in A class just to prove a point. Maybe some things are better off not said.

Posted by: TWISTED

I think a duel is in order!!! On stock bikes no less!!!

Posted by: pgregg85

twisted go back a page and check that pick out that was the 6th lap I had on the bike since I bought it and I was clearing all the stuff I would on my race bike. Im not scared. It doesnt matter anyway I just wouldn't degrade myself to go back to B class after doing so good in A class. It isnt like he does bad in A, so what if you dont win a race or two. Its more or less the fact of setting an example for the rest of the c and b guys that never want to move up, thats why c class has 50 riders at some points races.

Posted by: #88yfz

Your going to race it with the stock shocks!!

Posted by: TWISTED

Stock tires too!!! Both these guys are AWESOME and to see them race STOCK bikes would be the sh#t!!!!

Posted by: pgregg85

88 the stock shocks really didnt bother me, the only thing that was bad was how twitchy the front end was. I guess it was bad bump steer.

Posted by: Delaware152

I guess this just proves all the magazines are right. The yfz is much better than the Honda. There's no way you could race a stock Honda in A class. lol Nobody was running there mouth gossiping..it was a fact. I thought we all raced for fun but I guess so people want to win real bad. I wonder how we could do in B on a stock bike. #88 what kind of a-arms and shock did you say you had on your bike?

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

I see your A or in diguise B rider. He must Be afraid of the Shoupe. Which is a B guy that is skipping B to jump into the lions den with you A guys.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

You better get an answer from him now JT because in a short while that answer is going to change.

Posted by: #88yfz

I like to call my shocks wondershocks with yamaha superarms.
#61 glad to see ya on here its been awhile.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

I relized last week that sleep is a waste of time. So I think I am going to give it up. Besides I can fix Toyota's sick, tired, or sore. They ain't like working on a GM product.

Posted by: #88yfz

Look at all the valuable info. your missing you definately can't learn this at toyota.
Ian wants to race at budds this weekend and wants me to go i don't know if i will have time and i'm a little rusty but maybe i will go.

Posted by: Delaware152

88..Thanks. I am sure I made my point. How close are you to being able to ride. I rode a yfz more yesterday than the C-Dale and I actually was halfway fast on it.

Posted by: jrspawn

JT, you guys riding at seaford this sunday?

justin

Posted by: #88yfz

I'm thinking about riding the bike as it is until all the parts come in for seat time.I need seat time and excercise if i'm going to compete with you guys at least for a lap or two.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

152 If you push him hard enuff he can ride. He'll give into the pure pressure.

Posted by: Delaware152

Just drop to B until you get your parts. I am riding at Seaford again this weekend. I have something going on and can't go to Budd's but can practice. I will have Gil to chase around again...that will get me ready.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

Man I felt the effects off that hit here in Fredericksburg.

Posted by: #88yfz

That definately sounds like an unfair advantage chasing gil around.I'm not dropping back to Bclass and i will be picking the bike back up and bring it home this week for some mini track practicing at home!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Delaware152

Unfair. I turn 30 tomorrow so I need all the help I can get...here I come vet class. lol. I hope you know that last hit was not directed at you.

Posted by: #88yfz

I know it wasn't directed at me, I hope to be on the bike some this weekend some where just to warm up at least.

Posted by: D-7#61-450r

No NO we can read what you and Paul were typing.

Posted by: Delaware152

I am sure at this point you just want to ride. I am hoping to make it down to Budd's the last weekend in Feb. I need to get things straight with my bikes. I have 3 bikes and 4 motors and can't seem to get anything to run on the weekend. I am making some changes this week and I should be ready then. What did we all do before the exriders forums. lol

Posted by: #88yfz

I know one thing i use to get alot more rest. All this did was add to the atv addiction.

Posted by: seatec

Anybody going to tomahawk this weekend? saturday is suppose to be nice.

Posted by: YLW400

Delaware, you didn't tell me last night that today was your B-day Good god, I thought D-7 and I used to battle stuff out on here, it's gettin' bad now!

Posted by: pgregg85

Is it 5 o'clock yet

Posted by: TWISTED

Paul what have you done to the YFZ?

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

wow... things getting alittle heated up in here?
Nice pic Paul JT is that the only part of the track that they changed?

Posted by: TWISTED

i almost forgot.... What happened to Kevin Nowakowski? Haven't seen or heard anything.

Posted by: jrspawn

Hey paul are you racing the harrisburg race this saturday?

Justin

Posted by: pgregg85

Kevin N. is making a come back, hes getting his bike ready. I cant wait for him to get back out there. The yfz only has nerf bars, kill switch, pro taper bars and a curtis sparks exhaust.

Yes, I will be racing Harrisburg Saturday and Sunday.

Posted by: jrspawn

Cool, i think we're going up there to watch you guys race saturday, you racing your walsh bike in the pro class?

Justin

Posted by: YLW400

BLASTER, GET TO WORK!!!!

Posted by: pgregg85

Yes open expert class, I might venture into the production expert class on my yfz. I have already registered so I have to find out if I can still sign up for the production class as well.

Posted by: seatec

JC and what are you doing right now? goofing off. I am having fun tracking down my T1 provider rep. to tell him that he is out of his mind charging me $700/mo for our T1.

Posted by: YLW400

Seatec, I was actually downstairs in the machine shop trying to fix my clutch basket, thank you very much

Posted by: jrspawn

Hey, paul are you gonna be running your TC exhaust on your yz450 bike all this year at the nationals?

Justin

Posted by: seatec

oh pardon me Sir. Didnt know there were actually people out there that COULD take their Vacation and Personal days.

Posted by: Honda5

I think I'm going to take a personal day, then another, then another, ect....
I just wish I could go back to work. HAHAHA!!!!!!

Posted by: pgregg85

Yep the TC pipe stays until it has to go. Not because I like it that loud, I just dont want to buy a new pipe and have to fit it on there.

Posted by: YLW400

Work is overated anyway, isn't that right Honda5?

Posted by: jrspawn

Yeah, im in the same boat, i found baldwin will make me one or even GTthunder, but they are about the same sound level. So im just gonna run mine as long as they let us.

justin

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

whats all this talk about TC, sounds regulations? Hey paul what are you doing this weekend...

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

hey JC i have a blaster for sale, i heard you were interested...
whats wrong, 400 just not doing it for you?

Posted by: jrspawn

Wow, that was a pretty good one, yeah i guess next year they are enforcing the sound rule for all ameture classes, this year i think its only pro class.

justin

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

justin, where you guys headed this weekend?

Posted by: jrspawn

Well, hoping to go to seaford on sunday if my motor is back i sent it out over a week ago and its still not done, had the head redone and all new topend. So hopefully ill have it back in time to break it in and go to seaford. Also paul or jt, how do you guys recomend to break the engine in, is the same with everything else, im just a little leary with the TC engine in not letting it break in properly and tear something up.

justin

Posted by: Delaware152

jrspawn.. Like Tom Carlson says "just run it boy". I normally start up and let it warm up a few times and cool completly. The first time I ride it on a track I try to take it easy and short shift.

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

hey 152,you going to be as seaford this sunday?

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

hey jrs, let me know if you get your engine back and if you are going to be up there...i might try and get up there as well

Posted by: jrspawn

Hey, thanks for the help JT. Thats what he had told me before with letting it warm up then cool down, do it a few times, then he said she's bassically ready to race, ill still be a little easy on it for the first practice or so. Blaster, im REALLY hoping to get my engine back this thursday, if i do im defiently gonna be riding somewheres, anyone know what seaford might be like with all this rain we've had and thats coming, also colder weather? Hopefully we'll be able to ride this weekend.

justin

Posted by: seatec

i guess nobody is going to Tomahawk this weekend huh?

Im going up saturday to check things out up there at motorama.

justin

I will be there all weekend, making my donation.

Hey paul, are you racing for money there? Or do they offer just trophys?

justin

The weather is supposed to be 40 with a chance of snow, Sunday at Tomahawk... anyone planning on being there. They say they are open from 11:00am til dark. I have spent the last couple of weeks in Florida where it was 70-80 and sunny...this morning I was stuck in snow and traffic for 3 hours trying to get through Baltimore to get to work. ....I need to ride baaaaad

What's up Doug. I was planning on going up at least one day this weekend. If your going on Sunday I can probably get my brother and maybe James up there. There is a race up there next Sunday. Are you and Ron going to try and hit that? You have the GT Thunder rear right? How do you like it? I just bought some GT Thunder rebuild fronts and I'm gonna send out the rear to get the revalve and linkage so we'll see how they all work.

Posted by: 400exvet

hey whats up Nick? Yes I do have the GTThunder rear and I am very happy with it. I did the Budds race with it and it definately made me a little faster through the ruff stuff. Where I really noticed it was my normal riding spots around the house. Where I would normally slow up or brace myself for the seat to hit me in the ***....isn't necessary any more. One spot in particular is a wide open 4th gear uphill that crosses the flat driveway. It use to launch me about 20 feet, now I barely feel the hump and never leave the ground.
How did you find a used pair of GTThunder fronts already? You lucky dawg How much? I have James' rear shock if you need to use it while yours is getting done. I'm supposed to get it back to him as soon as we race again or get together.
I didn't know there was a race at Tomahawk until 3/28. We'll probably be there though. Ron's been sick so I'm not sure about this Sunday, although I would really like to go. Maybe I can talk someone else into going with me. Did you see the Kytes are running 4 stroke A class in GNCC and got 5th & 6th in Texas. Dat's smokin'

Posted by: cletusEX

Yeah a guy in IL posted the fronts last night and I jumped on them. $185 plus my fronts. They are practically brand new and set up for my weight. I'm just hoping they drop the quad as much as people say, but we will see. I have all my brothers shocks so I'll be alright. Yeah the first race at Tomahawk is Feb. 27th. Make sure your looking at the 05 schedule and not the 04 one. How bout them Kytes. They have really stepped it up. There are a few pics in the GNCC coverage and Mike is on a 450R. I don't know if he had problems with the Yami or if he switched all together, but I think he would do alright on the 450R. I'm gonna try and get up to Tomahawk both days this weekend. I only have 2 good rides on the 450R and can use the seat time. I especially need to work on starts. Were planning on hitting at least 9 GNCCs starting with Georgia so I don;t have too much more time.

let me know if you don't like those front shocks, I'll take em off your hands I don't know if they'll drop it like you want without the rear being done also. GTThunder set my rear to match the stock fronts and said when I get the fronts done then I can adjust the preload to make it sit lower. I can't believe you don't have the Elka's all around yet. Your crew lets you put that in the trailer with stock shocks on it ?
Yea... Mike got the R about a month ago...I think he was happy with the YFZ but he was constantly $$ fixin something on it.
I am looking at the 05 schedule but I do see an 04 schedule icon above it..and 3/28 is a Monday so I def. have the wrong one. I better go look again and print out the right one.
You better get use to that twist too! I may see ya'll this Sunday.

Posted by: cletusEX

I just talked to James and were planning on heading up there Sunday. I'm sending out my rear next monday to GT Thunder to get revalved and get their linkage. On the Tomahawk website go to the schedule. The 04 schedule pops up and at the top of the page in red it says 05 schedule. Click on that and the 05 schedule will pop up. I keep doing the same thing and it didn't make sense. I haven't put the twist on it yeat but I have a feeling it won't be long.

Doug and Nick.......I am down with Tomahawk this Sunday, but it is going to be cold. I might have to invest in some of those big ***** handguards. Doug I forgot you had my rear shock, I guess that is why I have not trip'd over it in the garage lately. Catch you all later....JP

Come on out fellas it will be a good time

Posted by: jrspawn

Well, a group of us went up to Harrisburg yesterday to check out all the racing. It was a pretty cool place, never been there before. I will say i doubt ill ever race there also. The track is VERY tight, it seems like all the jumps had NO runway and even LESS of a landing area. Dunk was there and was doing all of the jumps but one double, in the middle there was a triple that was just plain sick, he had it down pretty good, but the first couple times looked a little scetchy, the wall had to slow him down a couple times. For the expert class qualifier started off to be a good one. Paul came out of the hole very hard and i believe was tossing it up between second and third, dunk got out front, a little over halfway paul put a sweet pass in for 2nd, by the way did i mention how tight it was? Cant believe anyone could pass there, but paul got around into second, but unfortunetly over the triple in which only some of the other racers were singling to double(just about everyone was just singleing all of them though) including paul, ended up getting in a wreck, and getting hurt, we went down to see him and from what he was feeling, it didnt sound to good for his collor bone. Hopefully it isnt something seriously bad, and he'll be back out riding soon. Between him and dunk, they were definetly the fastest quads out there, ripping that place up. Hope you feel better and have a fast recovery paul.

I went last year, and Dunk was the only quad to do the triple. He still couldn't hang with Natalie, he flew around that track.

Paul,
hope you'r back on the quad soon

I couldn't find anyone to ride out there with me so I ended up going with a group to New Jersey. Me and one guy spent most of the day getting unstuck from a trail in the reeds which ended us up in the middle of a semi-frozen swamp. At one time I thought we were going to have to leave the quads there, but we eventually made it out. Before that we made a couple of tracks with turns and jumps and long fast straighaways which our group would race for a while and then others would join in...it was pretty fun. Saw about every kind of quad ever made. Between the first couple hours racing around and the last two hours tugging and pulling out of the swamp, I got quite a workout . Most of today will be cleaning quad and clothes and recovering thanks to all you president's that gave me today off

Tomahawk was pretty fun. The track was in super rough shape, but the woods loop was a blast. Sorry you couldn't make it, but it sounds like you had a good time riding and getting unstuck. We should meet up and ride one weekend, I think I know where Elkton is? Is that still in the state of MD? Later JP

WHat's the details on Paul, Delaware??

Posted by: Delaware152

He went to the doctor Sunday and it's not broke. It's the same side he broke last year and it aggravated it again. He said it hurts but he can move it. Is the 400 back together yet? You have missed two good weekends of riding.

Posted by: pgregg85

I am still alive, just really bruised and battered. A badly swollen collar bone, bruised and swollen neck, and a few bruised ribs, other than that Im doing good. Hopefully I can make a quick recovery and be practicing some time in the next month. The doctor said the collar bone wasn't even fully healed from when I broke it last year.

Posted by: mxdad

glad you didn't get hurt too bad. did you do this during sat qualifiers?

Posted by: YLW400

Well, at least it's not broken...

Delaware, I saw you on Saturday around 5:30ish down in Seaford, heading north.

Posted by: Delaware152

YLW400...When are you going to be back out riding? I will probaly be at Seaford this weekend unless I go to Budd's.

Posted by: mxdad

Here are a few pic's from Saturday afternoon @ Motorama. The lighting wasn't very good. I am going to add more pic's from people that send them to me or post them online.

Hey how do you guys like Tomahawk? And most Importantly how is there Hairscramble Track? Oh and what does it cost?

Most of my Regular Pa. Trails where slammed with an Ice Storm last month and after starting the District 6 a few weeks ago Im looking to do more training at the MX parks. I joined The Landing in Easton but its kind of getting old. More then likely I will join Rausch Creek, but I like the fact that Tomahawk is only a few hours away. Was even thinking about checking it out this weekend? ~coop

Posted by: seatec

I personally like Tomahawk. mostly table tops. good pratice track for beginners like me.
HS track is pretty rocky. not to bad though.

Posted by: Delaware152

Marylandatv...If you are wanting to check out a new place you should try Seaford or Middleford. It's all mx and the jumps are on the safe side...tabletops or forgiving doubles. They are open Sunday's from 11-4.

Posted by: cletusEX

I ride a lot up at Tomahawk. The mx track is pretty tame and they are going to be building another mx track in the future. The HS course is good practice for xc racing. It's got some tight sections and is pretty rocky and rough. I might be up there this weekend.

Posted by: MarylandATVcom

Hey Delaware152 do you have Web links for Seaford or Middleford?

Im looking for more woods loops, but also wanna ride the easier MX Tracks. Most of the jumps at The Landing in Easton have the lip at the top that seem to just wanna send you flyin! My Swing Arm Bearings blew out there Sunday I guess with me at 250lbs and the Prairie at 600lbs, we just don't do flight all that well!~LOL! Im racing Utility Class in District 6 and our first 5 races are at the Flying Dutchman. I Hated the Place!-lol But there will be 10 races there all together this year So I guess I better learn to love riding a Track! I also need a lot of work on my MX skills! as well? I guess?-lol . I definitely wanna check out something new this coming up Saturday or Sunday? Thanks for the info Guys. ~coop

Tomahawk this weekend? I would be down with that, have you washed your quad from last weekend? I think I powerwashed off 20 ponuds of mud. Maybe Doug could make it this weekend.

I think tomorrow I might get around to washing it. It literally has an inch of mud on it. I'm sure the neighbors are going to love me when 100 lbs of mud goes flowing down the street. I ordered a set of kickups and some nerfs, so hopefully my feet will stay on the pegs. Sent my rear shock out to GT Thunder and my fronts should ship tomorrow or the next day. I'm thinking about ordering a cam. Is there anything else I can tack on here while I still have some money left in the bank?

Washing the quad was a pain in the *****, I donated $15 to flagship so the poor guy behind me could wash his civic standing in 2 inches of mud. I think the shocks will definetly help smooth out the ride. As far as the cam goes just make sure you find one that compliments your riding style. Also I think the HRC kit needle and the adjustable air screw made fine tuning the jetting a lot easier. If you still have money to spend a 500 kit would compliment the cam or I could send you my wish list.

Hey CletusEX, I dont think D-7 has a Utility Class do they?? I did see some race info on the Tomahawk web site and may do a few of there Harescrambles? Most of the GNCC are to far for me to travel But I'll do one when it comes to Wisp and maybe NY? I have a wife and two little girls and they already give me that look! ~LOL So Im tryin to stay close to home . How about you? ~coop

Make him a good deal he has money burning a hole in his pocket

Posted by: cletusEX

MarylandATVcom, no D-7 doesn't have a utility class but you can probably do well in the B or C class. The races might be a little closer to you also. I plan on hitting at least 9 of the GNCC's starting with Georgia and as many D-7 races as possible.

Pappy, I might have to take that cam off your hands. How is the power on the stage 2? I want something with more low than top.

Posted by: Pappy

hahaha no doubt...my money

if youre at tomahawk ill see if joey will let you take a spin on his R with the same cam. he said it pulls hard in the midrange but it didnt make the low end suffer. i may have mine installed by this weekend so you are more then welcome to take it for a spin to see if its what you want

I wish. That money didn't last a day before it had to go to paying for the new 450. It was real hard not spending it on some Elka's and a new front end.

Posted by: FasterBlaster#4

Hey Delaware, do you think you will be at Seaford or budds this weekend? I think i am giong to head up to Seaford, it would be cool to see some guys up there...

JC, i agree with Delaware, when you getting that 400 back together, i think i have something that might be able to hang...if i can learn how to ride it that is

Cool I may do a few of the D-7s Events this year! Even if I have to run crazy C- class! I'll just line up a few feet behind them so when they bottle neck and wreck I can just go around!~lol

Rausch and Tomahawk look like the places I will be spending most of my time I guess this year, and with the Maxxis 6 and 12 hour coming to Rausch I would like to get envolved in them as well.

Does Tomahawk close down when it snows? I wanna ride this weekend, But with a snow storm on the way Im not sure where to go now? I dont think Pa. is going to get as much snow as The DC Area and the North West Towards Martinsburg? So Rausch maybe the place? But then again the Snow can be a free pass to ride the local trails around Maryland, that I once rode in my wreckless youth?
