Posted by: wiley400ex
where do u guys ride at in maryland? i live in cecil county, dont ride much around here though, always go to tower city, pa.
Posted by: seatec
I am lucky enough to have some friends who have acres of wood to ride in so i dont have to go far or ride illegal. If we go somewhere else we usually go to Rausch Creek or THe Landing in Easton.
Posted by: Derrick D
I haven't rode since summer cause I shattered my leg. I ride in white marsh at green valley, allender rd, more lane, & lafarge. I ride in bowleys quarters at the mud flates. I ride in dundalk by my house & in pasadena at bloody pond. Thier are probably other places that I ride to, but I can't think of them because it has been so long since I rode. Good thing is the doctor said I can start riding again so I will be this weekend. I might go to tower city. Let me know if anyone wants to ride.
Posted by: seatec
is that the lafarge in rosedale? where they fly RC Models?
Posted by: Derrick D
No its on Earls RD in Chase.
Posted by: seatec
ah, ok. Thanx
Posted by: YLW400

Yeah, i have been there once but am dying o go back there. I lik ehte long intermediate track. amd just now learning to jump and thinks its awesome. You should've seen me do laps on the beginner track. had a blast here. Wehn you start out and head towards a jump in 3rd gear it seems like your going to die soon.

We should hook up some time but i will probably slow you down.
Posted by: wiley400ex
i need some places to ride in maryland. i only go to tower city. im going this weekend, overnight, staying sunday into monday.
Posted by: seatec
gonna be awefuly cold my man. come down to the Landing when we go out there. its fun. I like how you can look down on all the tracks.
Posted by: Derrick D
Hey Greg I haven't been riding since July so I don't know. I will have to talk to some people. I will probably still ride them anyway. Pm me so I can get your #. I know alot of people who ride & know people with private land to ride on if you don't want to be hassled.
Posted by: Honda5
seatec/ylw400 pm me if you go to easton any time ! our group of riders has been getting smaller all the time but a few of us ride each weekend would love to meet some more locals .
Posted by: YLW400
seatec, the intermediate track is a blast. I used to ride the hell out of the beginner track too..lol It is alot of fun. I will for sure PM you guys when I go over there, I am always looking for people to ride with. There is also a track here in Delaware you guys cna check out called Middleford Speedway. It is located in Seaford, Delaware. That track is alot of fun as well.
Posted by: seatec
Ill derfinately give you guys a shout when we go out to easton or we might check that place out in Delaware. HAve to put you two in my buddy list. RTSE440 fromt yfzcentral.com is my usual riding buddy but he always kicks my *** out on the track
Posted by: YLW400
Yea, for sure! I usually get my butt kicked on the track too, but I have fun anyway..lol Any of you guys running D-7 this year?? I was considering going to Easton this weekend, but it doesn't look like the weather is going to be very nice..lol As long as the track isn't frozen, I'll ride...
Posted by: Honda5
I dont know if easton will be open they were having a problem with too much water in the low spots a few weeks ago. Talking about getting your butt kicked my best rideing buddy is 25 years old and rides a c-dale moto and i'm 37 and ride a slow 400ex now that is gettin your butt kicked!
Posted by: seatec
YLW, dont know about eastin this weekend man. I am pretty weather resistant but this is to freaking much. brrrr
Honda5, my riding buddies and me are all around 32-37 so we will fit right in. One of my buddies use to ride bike for dirtfirst and is preety good with a bike. He woops up on us on the quad as well but none of us go big air or anything. i usually ride 2-3 laps on the intermediate and have to pull of due to armpump.
as for the 400ex. not that slow is it? If so i will be more than happy to let you play with my YFZ450 if you can bring yourself to ride one.
Posted by: Derrick D
I might be intrested in riding at Easton this wekend also. What day are you going?
Posted by: Honda5
seatec it sounds like we are in the same condition about 2 or 3 laps are good for me then i need to stop and catch my breath I can do most of the double jumps on the int. track but most of the table tops are too much for me.Yes I would love to try that yfz and no my 400ex is not too slow but it is next to a moto or 250r. and it's too cold to ride this weekend! how about 1-24-04? or we can wait untilthe second weekend in feb. I'll be on my new 450r then.
Posted by: seatec
ill be more than happy to rid on the 24 weather permitting. i am one of those lucky guys whos wife actually chases him out of the house every weekend. lol
Posted by: greghall
do you guys ride moto or HS I to know alot of guys from dirt first most of them ride woods thats what I like,I heard about blue dimond in delaware is it any good?
Posted by: Honda5
i ride anything any time but I like moto-x I have not got a chance to go to blue diamond but I am going soon. seatec what do you mean your wife chases you out of the house on weekends my wife and kids tell me make sure our quads are ready to go we are going to. This is not a bad thing because I talked her into going on a week vacation to silver lake sand dunes in Mi. this past summer.
Posted by: kwatts400
Hey Honda5, when you go to blue diamond, let me know, it's only about ten minutes from my house. If I'm not working I'll meet up with you. I'm sure YLW400 will ride up from Dover to check it out. Have you heard anything new from DMS about your R?
Posted by: Honda5
k- will let you know when we go .The word from DMS is still about 2 weeks and the guy who is second on the list is still talking about getting his. We all need to put the local riders on buddy list so we can find out where we are all rideing and when.
Posted by: Derrick D
Is dirt first doing the WV trip this year? I was in there yesterday I forgot to ask about it.
Posted by: greghall
hey guys how is the blue diamonds woods track is it any good how long is it?
Posted by: kwatts400
I'll look into it soon. I need to tune my new carb in!!!!!
Posted by: YLW400
I am up for meeting pretty much any Sundays....That is "J.C.'s" day...lol Unless the wife has something for me to do that is
lol I ride strictly MX, but I do like to go out and goof in the fields occasionally. Anytime you guys get something together, shoot me a PM. Or I will do th same when I go!! It was just a little nasty yesterday to be riding..lol
Posted by: Admin
Hey Guys, I am from Maryland. I have a motocross track that I practice on at the house and some trails. Also, I frequently go up to Rausch Creek ATV Park in PA to practice. I will planning two rides up there this year and I hope to see you all make it. Also, I might have to invite you Maryland boys up to ride at my track if time allows.
Posted by: YLW400
Hey Harlen, I am not a Md guy, but close enough..lol The border is about 10 minutes from my house.... I will certaintly make one of the Rausch rides, if not both of them. I had a good time there last year.
Posted by: Pappy
maryland people suck
Posted by: YLW400
That reminds me of a joke we used to say back home (Martinsburg) I better not say it in a Md based thread though..lol
Posted by: Honda5
ok one of you guys pick a day and a place your choices
are: The Landing, Easton, MD
Middleford Speedway, Seaford
Blue Diamond, New Castle
Raush Creek, PA
My vote is for Easton. My wife's vote is for Easton and we don't care when it is. And if by some chance we get over 3 inches of snow, I'll give everyone directions to my house and we will ride the fields. I have access to over 100 acres of open field to ride but have to watch out for the cow pies!
Posted by: seatec
im in on easton too. HOnda: I mean that my wife makes me leave the house because i drive her nuts. Therefore i can ride all weekend if i dont have to fix the house or something. Harlen we surely would like to ride at your house . maybe get some lessons. hehe
Derrick. i was at Dirt First last saturday and sat on the duncan YFZ. pretty cool. Did you know that he (Andy)will switch back to the TRX450R as soon as it is available? He said that he has so many parts for the Honda that is smart to stay with honda since he is basically a honda shop to begin with.
I am seriously considering buyin a TRX when they come out so that i have both to play with, hehe
Posted by: greghall
I new Andy had one on order he said he like the YFZ but you know he always ride Honda proply going down to talk to him today.Hopfuly you guys can get together in the spring & go for a ride maybe at tower city or Rausch Creek.
Posted by: seatec
I tell you one thing. His YFZ was trick with Elka's and duncon stuff. He should give it to me when he is on the TRX.
Posted by: greghall
I didnt see his bike yet but im sure its right he's really serious this year, soon as he gets his TRX im sure that will be right too>
Posted by: YLW400
I am down with Easton as well. Heck, if the weather if decent this weekend, you guys wanna go?? I don't know what it is calling for off hand, but I can look! Also, you guys ride on Saturday or Sunday?
Posted by: YLW400
Saturday doesn't actually look too bad...High of 42!!Sunday is a 50% chance of snow showers....
Posted by: cletusEX
Any of you xc guys know the D-7 schedule? Just trying to figure out when the next race is.
Posted by: seatec
YL, it doesnt matter to me. I can ride saturday or sunday.
CLetus. do a search. i am pretty sure somebody has posted the schedule already.
Posted by: YLW400
Saturday is looking a little better...

Posted by: seatec
i knew it!! You are one of those crazy guys jumping in freezing water.
if the forecats stays the same or better i will probably make it out there but for now i will play it by ear.
Posted by: YLW400
lmao...Everyone does it!! It puts hair on your chest!!
Yea, it would be nice if it warmed up a bit, thats for sure. The wind is pretty nasty here today.
Posted by: seatec
Not "EVERYBODY" does it! I DONT!!!! as for hair on your chest. You freaking need it otherwise you freeze your nipples right off
i have a pair of Moose monarch gloves i wanna test in the cold and was also thinking about buying some kind of face cover to block there cold there but havent found anything there yet. Once i get goign i the cold i usually do well because i build up a lot of body heat ( no kidding if your 6'4" and 280 lbs).
Posted by: Delaware152
Saturday sounds like a good day to ride after missing two weeks. YLW400 let me know if you are going I need to ride.
Posted by: Honda5
If the weather is ok, me and a friend will be there ,we will have to wait and see.
Posted by: seatec
even if it to cold on saturday i think we are gather quite a nice riding squad here.
Posted by: YLW400
I'll get up with you this week Delaware152....but if you ride with us, you have to ride the Kasea 150, ok?
If i's too cold, I'll sit in the truck, drink beer and watch you all ride
Posted by: Delaware152
YLW400.. I think if I am on the 250 I can hang with you!!
Posted by: YLW400
I hope that 250's not stock is all I can say

Who did you hear from about this spot?
Posted by: greghall
never heard of that place but any were around here is hot & there is no where to park thats how they get you if you may new somebody that lived close by & rode from there house you may get away with it I heard from my county cop buddy that they were staking out the railroad tracks, also from somebody else that they got $500 tickets for riding green valley everybody they caught got them.

I'm not sure but i think i got it from one of my neighbors.
Supposedly there is a place near the dump down 95 near the city but you shouldnt ride alone there because they will try to pull you off your quad. Yes, i heard its heating up with the cops. hadning out tickets left and right. Good thing i have a sherrif living in my street who rides quads with us through the neighborhood when it snows heavily.
Posted by: greghall
yeah the city youth will take your Quad from you if they can get away with it . You may be talking about Quad ave. if you get caught in the city you will lose your bike forever they dont return them.
Posted by: Derrick D
You are definatly talking about Quad Ave. I rode there last year and didn't have any problems, but I was lucky. My buddys father owns his own consruction company, and his office is on Quad Ave so he let me park there. I went in from the back & luckly there was no one around.
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
Stay away from the place behind Mercadees it is very hot
I have been hitting Sugar hill rd. off 152 the trails are ok and it is close to me.
I need a kid friendly place to take my two boys they both have 50's and need a good safe non agressive place to ride. anyone with kids that knows of a good place like an open field let me know.
Thanks,
Eric
Posted by: Derrick D
Is route 152 Moutain RD?
Posted by: seatec
yup!
Posted by: Honda5
Well guys, Mr. Honda5 should be happy when he gets home tonight because I just went and picked up his new TRX450R from Diamond Motors Sports tonight. It is tough! Took it for a ride and it is fast! They got 4 bikes in today and put his together.

Posted by: seatec
alright!!! i bet you are a happy camper! can i ride it when we get together? lol
Posted by: Honda5
Yea, you can ride it but it's kinda embarassing because two of my Hipers are back ordered for another 3 weeks. My dominator axle is about 3 weeks out too. And my Magura clutch is probably another 2 weeks also. I should have it all together in about a month! But if we do get a good weekend I will still take it out.
My wife is the best!
Posted by: seatec
hey, i had to wait 3 weeks for my hipers and tires. i know how you feel. i think my wife is the best too, hehe. she just let me buy a lsr +2 +1 steering stem to open it up for me.
Posted by: Honda5
by the way she picked me up a new helmet to match my new bike .damn I hope the weather changes soon.
Posted by: kwatts400
Did they get 4 450r's in? It would be nice to get mine soon, even though I won't be riding for a while around here.

Posted by: seatec
YLW, Man, i want to ride at The Landing so bad i can taste it.
Lucky for me though my buddy has some land we can goof around on so i do get a fix every sunday but sure wouldnt mind hopping some little jumps again.
Posted by: YLW400
I haven't riden since November...
That was my last race, it was at Budds. I have a race at the end of Feb at Budds also..I wanted to be riding this whole time, but thats not happening with the weather... I NEED to ride..lol
Posted by: seatec
Dang man. HOw can you NOT ride that long? There where certainly opportunies. THe weather hasnt been bad all the time.
Posted by: YLW400
Honestly I didn't have too many chances..not just weather, but other stuff going on, you know how it is..

we need this weather to break I am going through withdraw!!!!
I am going to sugar hill on Sunday rain, snow or shine!!!
Posted by: YLW400
Where is Sugar Hill?? I am waiting on a pair of front brake lines right now, but I can ride without those..lol I am needing to ride somethin' fierce..I have a race in 25 days and haven't ridden in a long time...I don't know if I remember how
lol
Posted by: seatec
YEah, i skipped riding last week so i need to get my fix soon too.
My buddy is on call this weekend so i might want to join you guys at sugar hill. dont exactly now where that is eventhough i am from Bel Air (very close to forrest hill). Maybe we can hook up. ANybody knwo the exact directions to Grastons Farm? This guys is a farmer and has sort of a mx track in one of his fields and lest people ride there fro free. kind of cool but its whooped out on some spots.
i actually got my longer braided front lines in yesterday and am now waiting for my +2 +1 stem. It's gonna be sweet!!!!!

Bel Air is NE of baltimore in Harford County. Go up 95 and exit at route 24.
In case you are talking about Grastons farm, thats also in Hardford COunty more towards Jarretsville.
Posted by: YLW400
Sounds like a pretty long hike to me......
Posted by: seatec
For you it definately is and not worth your trip. trust me. We are better of going to The Landing in easton but i think it wil still be to wet there.
Posted by: YLW400
If it's wet anywhere, it's wet at Easton...lol That place holds water like a women on her _ _ _ _ _ _
I just made that up! Huh, that was pretty good! lol
Posted by: seatec
You are a sick puppy
HOw do you think Roush creek looks? Think it might be drying?
WOuldnt mind driving up there and ride.
Posted by: YLW400
I take that as a compliment
I am not sure how that place is for holding water......I have only been there once, but it was a blast....There is always Seaford, down here in Delaware...I am not sure how long of a drive that is for you though..
Posted by: seatec
dont know how long but cant be more than Rausch
Posted by: YLW400
BWI is like 1.5 hours from me........and Seaford is about 25 minutes south of me.......
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
Sugar Hill is going to be a mud bath but it is still a place to ride
( sure wish I woulnt have cut those fenders off)
I am not far from Graysons farm and I heard it is not well groomed but again it is a place to ride.
Bel Air is about 1 hour from Seaford DE. I passed it a million times going to Dover but I never knew there was a place to ride, whats it like.
Posted by: YLW400
It's a fun MX track to ride..actually one of my favorites beneath Budds....Nothing huge though. There is one 80ft double that's nice. Not a whole lot of quads do it, but some do. If you all want directions, just tell me, or shoot me a PM. It's just a fun track to ride...
Posted by: Honda5
this weather is just gettin stupid now. everyplace I ride is just a big mud puddle but next weekend I am going somewhere. If any one is riding any where on the shore or Del. let me know because I am there this .450r sittin in my garage is killin me !
Posted by: YLW400
I was thinking of riding at Seaford, Honda, but with the rain we have had already, and whats coming today, there is no way the track will be rideable this weekend....
Posted by: seatec
I feel yor pain. And this friggin weather this morning is not improving my mood any. I personally dont mind slop and mud but riding in rain is not exactly my forte.
Posted by: kwatts400
I've got my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be able to at least find someplace to ride locally. I have two bikes in my garage that need a little exercise.
Posted by: Honda5
I think I'll just sell one of my quads and buy one of those big ugly 4x4 hondas and go play in the mud with the local rednecks.(at least i'll be riding)
Posted by: seatec
Honda5 funny you should mention that! YLW400 and i have been joking about that very same idea to get a big 4x4. Great minds think a like.
Posted by: YLW400
I would go riding in the mudd, but I don't like to get my quad dirty ..

YLW400 I'll let you know about Seaford this weekend. I will go by on Saturday and see how bad it is. They have pumps, bobcat and dozer and I know they will be open if there is any way possible. You know if they are open it will be in decent shape.
Posted by: YLW400
Keep me posted, if it isn't too bad I would really like to go....We know Ol' Ralphy will keep the track in tip top shape
It is raining up here now, kinda crappy out... I sure hope they are open...
Posted by: Delaware152
It's not rained that much today down here. Hopefully the majority will miss.
Posted by: YLW400
It is pouring it's arse off here right now. I am sure my dog will have to swim out to land to go to the bathroom when I get home to let him out...
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
I stopped by Sugar Hill today on the way home from work expecting to find a mud pit. Instead I found a freaking pond!!! when is this weather going to break. I am going to have a hard time convincing my wife I need money for a new quad when I don't get to use the one I have. Once again mother nature throws a wrench in my sprocket. What are the requirements to ride at Seaford? I think I asked this but do they have a pee wee track for the kids?
Posted by: emj426
I ride in Maryland. There is a place called North Hill that is near Oakland MD. There is everything from a Motocross track to lots and lots of trails. There is a HS track that is really good for training if you race in the woods. I live in WV and there is lots of places to ride here also, but they are not all legal..the place in MD is legal.
Posted by: YLW400
the requirements to ride at Seaford are long shirt, long pants, boots and gloves. They don't have a pee wee track, but they do run 100cc and below all at one time
Posted by: seatec
the oakland riding area sounds pretty cool. maybe ill have to try that soon. how far is it from baltimore? ill check mapquest.
Im thinking about going to dirt first today and see what goodies they have for the yfz. hehe. to bad andy will siwtch back to a trx450 as soon as he gets one.(may already have one)

Damn this weather, I'm getting ready to leave to go to a rv show today. If I can't ride around here I'll go somewhere else.By the way us people around here dont get to ride in big sand but I went to silver lake sand dunes in Mi this past summer it's a blast !I'll be going back in july let me know if anyone is interested in going along.
Posted by: seatec
hey i might be game. how long do you go and how?
where is the RV show? Fair Grounds? check out the toyu trailers.i want one bad!
Posted by: Delaware152
Seaford is closed this weekend. Maybe next weekend. I have only been saying that for about 4 or 5 weeks now.
Posted by: kwatts400
Blue Diamond was closed too.
Posted by: Honda5
Ok just got back from the RV show and damn is it going to cost me! We sold our 31' Class C RV and bought a brand new 36' Class A with all the bells and whistles. So if I never ride again, sell all my four-wheelers, my youngest child, and rent out my wife for parties, I might be able to pay for it!
But if I do have the money you'll see it at the tracks. I'm ready to go riding!!!
Posted by: seatec
So, how dows your wife look?
Comgrats on the RV. i have been looking at those for 7 years now but i dont have place to park one. did you get a diesel?
WHo diod you get it from? Chesaco?
Posted by: Honda5
No it's a gas V10. Just like our 31' was. We went to Dover, DE to the RV show and brought it from the guy that we bought the last two by (Delmarva RV from Milford, DE). This thing is really sweet. Hopefully we will be taking it to Rausch Creek, Budds Creek and Breezewood real soon!
Wife says depends on what the other person looks like. She states that this is her Valentine's Day present. WHAT A PRESENT!
Posted by: seatec
Cool, maybe ill gvte off my butt and look at some rv's. I would want a toy box though.
Oh btw, there is this Hatfield McCoy thing and we (YLW and i ) need lodging. wanna come.

Posted by: Honda5
When is the ride at Hatfield? There may be some room under the awning outside for some people to sleep next to me cause the wife said there is no way in hell that you are going to bring your dirty butt in the new camper. She even made sure that we had an outside shower.
Check out the toy box! We have too many people that go with us that it wasn't big enough.

Breezewood is just north of Hagerstown, MD somewhere in PA. We haven't been there yet because they didn't get their permits last year. Check out the above web site for Breezewood.

Hey!!! My butt is never dirty
hatfield ride is in march July and september i think.
Posted by: Honda5
You always get dirty when you ride! If you didn't it wouldn't be any fun!
Let us know the exact dates of the Hatfield rides, we may be interested in going. We are going camping to NY in June and back to Michigan to ride the last week of July!

im hearing the call too. saturday is the nicest day as far as i can see. like in the high 40's. anybody else game?
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
Easton sounds awsome but Sat. is Valentines and if I try to pull that off It wont be the only thing I am stuck pulling!!!
I am going to stay local and get as mddy as I can at sugar hill. Greg you can park at the entrance to the place and not have to worry about getting your truck stuck. Let me know if you want to meet up and I'll show you how to get in there . I could meet you at the park and ride at 152 and I95.
Posted by: Delaware152
Weather is supposed to be good on Sat. Maybe Easton Saturday and Seaford on Sunday. Try to make up some lost time.
Posted by: YLW400
I can pull off Saturday, but not Sunday
I gotta b-day party to atend...
Posted by: seatec
sugar hill. its nice and close. where exactly is the entrance on 152. near the golf course? what can i expect there? does it get boring after half an hour?
Posted by: Honda5
Hey if you guys go to Easton, count me and my wife in. I want to break in the new 450R. Wife wants to ride too. Let us know. We are game.
Posted by: YLW400
Oh, I am there...
lol

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...&submit=Get+Map
if you look on the east side of rt40 on rt152 it is the first right.
Sugar hill is an old quarry, it is like the old cambels, whitemarsh area. Thereis a good woods section that is about a mile long and is pretty good, also there is an open area of about 9 acres but most of that is going to be swamp now.
I don't think you will get board in a half hour but I can say it is a good place to ride for a couple of hours. I plan to get there at 9:30 or so and ride till a little after noon or my arms give up. I havent ridden since the snow storm we got before xmas. I know that it is very muddy and wet there. I don't think anywhere you go it is going to be dry. I will stop by tommorrow to drive back in there and get a better idea of how bad it is if it is too bad I might just have to try to talk the wife into letting me go to a track. I would like to try Seaford. it is closer then Easton.
Posted by: RUTHLESS
posting directions to sugarhill is not the best idea
i have watched countless idiots ride there without helmets
moreover i have been there on 3 different days where smokey
showed up, never did anything but as soon as some redneck
splits his head open that will be another lost riding area
thanks
Posted by: seatec
are you trying to minimize the people that ride there?
Kinda keep it to yourself?
Posted by: seatec
Eric talk to the wife and join us at Easton. we will have a ball.
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
damn!!! I will try but mommy says I gotta be home by 3:30 cause I have to take the kids to soccer at 4pm. Growing up sucks!!! I think easton is about two hours away from us that means I would have to wrap it up by 1pm. ahh just might not be my day. Hey I heard it is gonna be in the 50's on Sat. f...ing heatwave!!
I think ruthless is on key, there are some serious dipshyts out there that have no common sense and unfortunatly they are the ones that give our sport a bad name.
Posted by: seatec
nah man. You can make easton in 1 1/2 hours.
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
what time in the morn are you leaving?

I think none of us can stay all day and that will be fine with me. I'll propably fall of my quad anyway due to arm pump.

Posted by: YLW400
pgregg, I will make sure Dave has the kiddie track open for you
j/p man. I think Delaware152 is coming as well.. I will be there!! It is 33.00 if you have an AMA or ATVA card, which mine has expired, and I haven't gotten my new on in yet...lol Otherwise, it is 43.00 per person..
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
sounds like we have a good crew together.
here is the NOAA forecast for Sat.
Saturday. Mostly sunny. Highs around 50. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
WOW this is going to be a nice day. I hope the track has dried up some
Posted by: YLW400
I am not sure what they have had for weather over there, but I know it hasn't done much raining here in the past few days, and I am only 45 minutes from there...It should be a good day!!! I can't wait. 50degrees is good
Posted by: seatec
I cant remember having to show my AMA card last time i went and they charged me 33 but maybe thats because it was colder than a welldiggers ***** and they showed pitty on us. ANyway's i have my up to date AMA card so i am good to go.
I am actually soliciting others from other sites to come as well. We might have a good turn out and rule The Landing.
Make sure they have the Peewee track open for me. There is this one hairy jump on the peewee track that i still havent mastered yet and would like to try again
Posted by: YLW400
I did hear something about them adjusting rates, I don't know when that was to take affect, maybe they did lower it, I haven't been there in awhile...
Cool, what other sites are you soliciting from? Any other guys showing up?
There are some monsters on that track seatec....Maybe we can get Delaware152 to pull us over them
Posted by: YLW400
http://www.thelandingmx.com/index.htm
That is for those of you who have never been there....
It looks like they did decrease the fee to 30.00, plus a 3.00 gate fee...cool. Maybe they don't do the AMA discount anymore...
Posted by: seatec
I am soliciting from yfzcentral. Some guys there are pretty nice.
Yeah those peewee jumps scare the he!! out of me
I hope we can get a good group of folx together. ill bring my camera allthogh it suX. maybe i should bring my other non digital and make ome picks. Nah, i needd to get my buddy to come. he's got a cool new Canon digital. (hint hint)
I am psyched to meet all of you and do some riding. I am going to be the worst rider but i dont care.
Posted by: YLW400
oh god, there are going to be Yamahas' there
lol COol, the more ther better!! You and I might be fighting for that position Seatec....lol
Posted by: seatec
Just an fyi. I have a YFZ450 so no matter what. There will be a Yamaha. I try to keep it out of sight and ride behind you guys. It will ease the pain.
Posted by: YLW400
Can't you borrow a friends 400EX or something???? lol
Just playing man, I don't care what you ride..SOmetimes those Cannondales even come out and ride with us..lmao Delaware152...You'll probably be in front of me either way Seatec..lol
Posted by: seatec
Nah only know people with common sense, so no go on the 400ex
J/K i really dont care what other people ride. I am keen on taking one of them there nefangled TRX450 for a quick spin.
I use to love my CRF450 Bike. Man that engine could just tractor through anything and that means a lot with a big guy like me.
Posted by: YLW400
If it was common, more people would have it
lol I like to call it "good"sense...
I would like to ride both of them myself.
Posted by: pgregg131
The pee wee track sounds great, maybe I can sign up for the lessons that easton offers
Posted by: YLW400
lmao..You all coming early Saturday? Kevin or anyone else coming out?
Posted by: pgregg131
Im not sure what time. I am going to call Kevin, he will probally come to.
Posted by: seatec
I have this vision of all of us with our high tech high power quads single file on the peewee track. That woud be a great picture.
All i know is that i want to be there like right a 9am opening time and ride lots before the ground wil get soft. hope they have some of the ruts out of the intermediate track cause thats a pain when the ground is still solid.
Posted by: Delaware152
YLW400..Watch it about the C-Dale. Hopefully it will run it's been sitting so long. I may need those riding lessons. If you want I can bring dad's Polaris to give you a little competion.
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
man listening to you guys crack on each other about which 400cc+ quad will show the other up has got me awfully embarraced to show up with my lame '87 250x. I guess I will have to suck up my pride and ride this thing like I stole it to keep up with you guys. I bought this thing in Sept. for almost nothing and put it back to gether with the help of Mid Atlantic Cycles. One thing that sucks about growing up and having kids is they wind up getting nicer quads then you(keep that in mind all you young bucks). Well I will bring the old x machine out and do my best to keep up with you pro's

Posted by: seatec
buwahhahhh Pro. me! hah. man im am a suid if you ever seen one. With my riding abilities i dont even deserve a recon 2x4. No worries mate. I have a feeling you will be whipping our budds.
BTW i am 33 so i am getting up there. no young buck here partner. More like a middle aged moose
Posted by: Ericthered rdr
I am looking forward to the chance to make an *** out of myself. I like jumping and I saw some good jumps on the web site. I am interested in the pee wee track for my kids to ride next time. This trip is for me, I need it!
