how bad would it be to have +2 arms on a 250r for xc?

very bad. At sparta I had a guy with 2+ arms on a 400. He made it about 3 miles before snagging a tree bending a tie rod. You would be better off with stock a-arms or max of 1+ with 4/1 offset.

If you get your jollies from running into tree's I highly suggest the +2 arms..
