thats awesome. i wish i did that instead of buying a stock quad and having too build it myself! buying them race ready saves you sooo much money!!!!!!

sporttrax400ex: can you not read? Every time I look up there I see AXIS SHOCKS
Posted by: LTandRaptorider
Don't forget a rear shock to go with the Axis fronts...

Ur putting a durabblue axle on that thing
Posted by: acracing55
why wouldnt i?
Posted by: 400MXer
first off, why would you bring the cc's down to 440 when the legal limit is 450, then, your putting a 41mm fcr on it and taking the stock FCR that's already on it off? Durablue axle? BS?

For starters... there's a reason they have the nickname "Durabend"...
A lot of people on here have a lot of experience with riding quads, and building them up. When someone offers you advice, no need for you to go on the defensive. I've been riding since 1986, but still more than happy to get advice from others, even if they've only been riding a couple of years. You can always learn something. Sometimes it's just opinions that you can decide if you agree with, or advice that you decide if you need. But never keep a closed mind, you won't get very far that way, and spend a lot of time figuratively banging your head off a wall... Lastly, you don't think you're going to post mods you intend on doing, and not get any suggestions or comments, do you? If so, what's the purpose of your post?
Good luck on your quad.

Actually I like to call them Dura BREAK. Don't jump anything where you're gonna get more than 6 inches of air w/ a DB axle. LOL GET AN RPM!

lsr and rpm no question is the best.........also my ***** you are having eastocast build it.......it cost so much money to have them build a quad.....i wanted to see how much it would me to have them build Dustin wimmers blaster/400ex and they said it would cost 15-17 g's and really i could build it for 12 g's they add way to much to there prices for labor IMO

400 ex red powdercoated frame- if you are spending so much on this " quad" you are supposively building why not a aftermarket frame???
Red K&K graphic 400 ex kit w/ number plated- why not eastocastatv graphics if they are building it???
yellow ac racing net nerfs-never seen yellow ones?
ct racing pipe and silencer-why not tc or baldwin or wb???
dura blue axle- spending so much why not a lsr or rpm?

Well they were going to charge me 3500 to trade in the ex motor and give me the 450 cc motor, it comes w/ all the parts carb. and other stuff...
Is that expensive? What is cheapest place?
Posted by: gibson400ex
the question is are you really having them build you a quad???

Posted by: gibson400ex
here are some pics of rocco's bike......and actaully they want 12,800 o.b.o but is is a 2001 destroked to a 440

What size rear turf tamers? 18 inches? If so, they don't make 18 inch rears for 9 inch rims.
