my 250x axle bolt never stays tight after about an hour of riding it comes loose again n the then chain keeps popping? nebody got solutions?

I was told that if you tighten the smaller nut to tight it will stretch the threads and therefore making it useless. You are supposed to torque them both but I never have. I tighten them both up and wrap some electrical tape around the whole setup, this way the nut can't back the whole way off. By the way when the axle is run loose it just destroys the axle bearings prematurely.

save the headaches...worn bearings and if the chain is coming off maybe even a trashed engine. spend the $40 and get a dual pinch lock nut
