I know it's not a Honda, but here's my ride for the next couple of months. It's been tough parting with my Roll 250r's, but I had to do it to start on the front row.

Posted by: coryatver

ah i can only see a little bit of the top. I don't think it uploaded all of it.

Posted by: rowlrag

Ahh... good lookin throttle cable LOL get that pic up now! Good luck this year Andy.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Where's that pic Andy?

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

Bear with me, this is the first pic I've tried to post.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Nice!!!! Is the Fulbore plastic?

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

Yes, it's Fullbore. It took a bit of work to make it work with the IMS tank, but it turned out okay.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

You gonna show me the ropes in the pro class?

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

Hopefully I'll be showing you the back of my swingarm, after the spanking you gave me at the last few races!!

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

DOH......sorry

Posted by:

That quad looks bad *** Andy...

Posted by: Admin

Very Nice Andy!

So, when do I get to ride it?

Posted by: Dave400ex

That quad looks awesome. The black/red is very nice and different from others.

Posted by: AlaskaSpeed

Very nice/interesting. I am still trying to figure out a color combo.......JIM

Posted by: Bonnie Cook

Andy, it looks great. Bryan got a Yamaha too and he hasn't even seen it yet. Mickey Dunlap is working his Four Stroke Tech magic to make it awesome. It seems like the first row is going to be all Yamaha's next year, except for just you Jeff!!!!!!

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

I'm an outcast

Posted by: Bonnie Cook

I'll still cheer for ya Jeff, no matter what you ride. Good luck with it though.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

Thanks for the props, guys. Harlen, you don't have time to ride anymore! Bonnie- to what extent will you be covering the series next year? You are right, looks like the front row will be the "Yamaha Production Class". C'mon Honda, where are you? Oh yeah, and Jeff will be in there too.

Posted by: cjpoole1

Could you e-mail me the big pic? and if you have a pic of the plastic/tank area that would be great too. I plan on running an IMS tank and Fullbore plastic too.

My E-mail

Posted by: TLC

Andy great looking Yam. C-ya in Texas!

Posted by: cinigen9

is yokely switching to a yfz as well? I figured there would be a few z400's still on the front row.

Posted by: markk

Who makes that bumper??? Iv seen them on some 250r's
Are they as tuff as the PRM's???

Posted by: foxracingpredat

I believe that is a duncan bumper. I am thinking PRM is a little tougher. But I think the ducan looks the best

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

Here is a view showing where to cut the Fullbore plastic around the cap area to fit the IMS tank.

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

This view shows the brackets I made from front fender brackets for 250r Fullbore fenders. They are trimmed down and have new holes in them. The threaded inserts are already in the tank.

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

This view shows the top bracket shape and angle. Also notice another bracket on the bottom that is mounted onto the frame using an existing hole. The same 250r brackets are used for these also.

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

This shows the placement of the screws in the side of the plastic to mount onto the brackets.

Posted by: cjpoole1

thanks! I have a couple more questions. Do you have a +1 stem with the GPR and what bend bars are you using with the GPR? How much difference in height is it from stock? and finally is there any kind of support under the hood area on the fullbore like the factory plastic?

Posted by: Dunlap

Bonnie here is a pic so Mr. Cook can see his new YFZ.

Mickey, what are you doing to the Recon? I've been playing with the idea of racing mine for a while.

Posted by: diangelo#67

I made a .020 over Hi-comp. piston for it and the 250ex but there is no real market for it so I dont think I will do much with it.

I cut my GNCC team back to 6 riders this year because it was to much for me and I turned the day to day part of running the team over to my pit manager Mike Benson so I dont think I will be doing anything in the GNC at this time. The only reason we even race is to build better products for my market and that is the weekender that likes to play race his ATV.

Posted by: Scott Kawi700

Mickey, who will be piloting the Vforce for you in GNCC this year? And what class will they run? Just how big did you go with the motor on that one ? Are there any good cams out for the V yet? One more thing since I'm picking you brain, Care to share any info on setting up the clutch for GNCC on that beast?
Good luck on the 04 season!!

Posted by: diangelo#67

thats probably good for you anyway I've been told I could brake a ball of steel,j/k but any way, seriously I would like to hear some about your products for the z400 I have a spare motor that I would like to put an open class kit into

Todd Ribblett will be racing a 785cc or bigger in the unlimited utility class. We have biggggggggg cams for the 785 only and the clutching is done by Dalton Pro.

We have 500cc kits that run real good but you will need to call for pricing.

Posted by: 86350x

Would you be willing to sell the yfz shocks?

Posted by: JEFF8400EX

Andy ya going to come to any district 5 races this year?? there was a real good turn out last year at most of the races. i ened up third or foruth overall for the year.. first year in a and first year on the new gasgas. this year i think i'm going to be on the gasgas 450 or the atk/cannondale.

Posted by: spincr4hire

Nice ride, Andy

The orange YFZ is sweet, too, Mickey, nice job.

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

cjpoole wrote- thanks! I have a couple more questions. Do you have a +1 stem with the GPR and what bend bars are you using with the GPR? How much difference in height is it from stock? and finally is there any kind of support under the hood area on the fullbore like the factory plastic?

I am running a +1 stem right now, but I'm trying a std. length as soon as I get the parts. I'm using Renthal atv bend Fatbars which are the equivalent of cr-hi bend. The GPR adds approx. 1". The whole setup is approx. 1" higher than stock at the grips. The Fullbore front plastic comes with brackets for the hood area, but I haven't been using them.

Posted by: cjpoole1

thanks!

Posted by: Dave400ex

Mickey can you post some more pictures of that Orange YFZ? That thing is awesome looking. What all is done to it?

I just got the plastic in and it is just sitting on the machine so thats the only pic I took for now. This machine will be in the April Dirt Wheels with white plastic and a 470cc kit.

Posted by: 250RXCrider

Hey Andy....Am I going to get to see that YZF450 cruise by me at any of the local district 7 races? The hangover would be a nice test run and Good Luck in the Texas.

Posted by: Ryan

Nice ride Andy.

BTW, how come none of you boyz aint running the new Honda TRX450r?

Do you know of anyone (Pro) that will be on the TRX450r?

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Honda is dragging their feet and releasing it too late

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

DANG -31 minutes to tear a Yamaha into that many pieces!!!

Posted by: Admin

Nice Pics Andy! Your YFZ looks awesome. Please email me some of your larger pictures, so I can post them. I think everyone would like the larger pictures.

If your season is as awesome as your quad, you should finish in the top 10 overall. Wish you Luck on the Thumper.

Posted by: MooseRacing

Andy....bring that thing over to Tomahawk and get some runs on it before the Hangover!

I will hopefully have the 450R in a couple of days.

Posted by: speedygonz

Mickey,
Great looking V-Force. I am still in the process of rebuilding my v-force, frame up from last GNCC season. How do you like the Dalton Clutch kits?

I dont have the v running yet so I couldn't tell you.

86350x, Bryan Cook will PM you about the shocks

Quadnice it took just under 2hr to make that mess. And it will take 2 week to put it back together.

Posted by: 86350x

Hey thanks a bunch

Posted by: jb500ex

mick
how long before you have something for the 450r. and i am not going 13:1 this, just kidding

Posted by: Dunlap

500cc kit 2 weeks after the first one comes in.

Posted by: Lurch

Orange and green is just about the most awesome color combo for a quad. Mickey did a sweet job on my Mojave. the thing rips for a 330cc 4-stroke and I get looks everywhere I race. No one can tell what it is. you might have seen it in the Dec '02 ATV Action magazine. Here it is...

Posted by: RUTHLESS

ANDY WHAT SIZE REAR HOLESHOTS ARE YOU GOING TO RUN? ARE 22 INCH REARS TO BIG? ALSO WHAT SIZE FRONTS ARE YOU GOING TO USE? THANKS

Posted by: Andy Lagzdins

Ruthless-
I'll be running the 22" front XC's. My rear tire choice will depend on the conditions, but will be either the XCR's, XC's, or the new Holeshots which are coming out in the next few months- which will be basically a more aggressive XC(from what I was told). I always run 20" tires, unless we have another Hurricane GNCC like 2003, then I'll run XCT 22" rears- I always keep a set in the trailer.

Posted by: racerx573

Hey Andy, you raced the Roll R at Budds on Nov. 23 right? I'm the kid who came and asked for a cylinder o-ring.
