can you powdercoat stock a-arms, or chrome them?

Your not supposed too, because the ball joints cannot be removed. However Pappy did mine black. Turned out nice, but my ball joints are startting to go.

Some are gonna say no you cant but I say yes-I had mine powdercoated and there fine, I think there is an issue with the rubber boot getting to hot or so I have heard. Like I said though mine turned out ok and and they look cool as chit. Dont know on the chrome though, other than its $alty.

Powdercoating the stock a-arms can be done, but it's usually not recomended. The heat breaks down the plastic in the ball joints, so they wear out much faster.
