I made those out of stainless steel....they are fashioned after OMF's

Well, I ordered a pair of OMF's and measured them and made a pattern then sent them back. I made a few out of regular sheet metal till I got the ones that I liked and then used them as a pattern for the stainless steel. The S.Steel is harder to cut than galvanized sheet metal, but with a good pair of snips you can make it look good......and I've done sheet metal and htg and A/C for 20 yrs. and yes I have a pattern....

I don't reall call it ripping them off...I paid all the shipping and restocking fees....It was just easier to copy there dimensions, I could have figured it out after a few tries

I pretty much did the same as the MAX400 about making a diagram after the ofm scoops accept for I kept the ofm scoops and used them on my EX..I just made a patten so that I could make some for my friends, but I was planning on trying to make them just like the ofm and making them out of aluminum. Have you tried this? what is the best tool for cutting aluminum?
