Helping a buddy with a slip on HMF pipe on a completely stock Z.
They recommended 170 but it seems rich, does anyone else have this setup and what jetting worked for you?
I already posted on Z400central with not much help. Thanks

have you ridden it and it seems rich, or just the idea of that number sounds like it would be rich?
HMF exhust flows a ton of air, jetting that could be rich more most exhaust is probably right on for an HMF.
if you have ridden it and it seems rich, your just gonna have to play with it, jetting spec can really only give a round about figure, every motor is a little different

I run a 165 main, Nossmachine adaptor with K&N filter w/outerwear, no airbox lid or modified airbox lid (depending on the conditions).

The 170 jet is recommended without an airbox lid. I run a lid with mine, and I us a 155 with no problems.
