We are getting ready to repair the jumps from the rain and riding they have had on them. The biggest double is going to be made bigger, we keep over shooting it anyways so why not.... Will probably also get a woops section in there too.

Did you have shovel all that dirt? The reason I ask is because it looks like you need quite a bit more dirt on some of those jumps. Nice start though!

pretty decent track, i got some input on the landings but I don't wanna critisize but its still nice and technical.

We used a bobcat to move the dirt.

The track is in our pasture with all of our livestock, so it is hard to keep it in good condition. It has had about 2 months of riding on it with no repairs.

We know it needs work, any ideas or building tips are cool with me!

If any one has any ideas to help us please post'em. I now we need to go bigger but any tips might help. I would like to build a double out of junk cars.

build up your take off so its taller and has a smoother tranny, make your landings longer w/ a smoother tranny so its easier to land right. If your affraid of coming up short on the jumps add a safety to them which is just a few feet of dirt infront of your landing that keeps you from stuffing it on the front side of the landing.

If your thinking about barying(spel?) any cars keep in mind that your gonna have to fill in dirt everyone in a while because a lot of dirt is gonna start to settle in the car over time.

pasture and track/jumps don't go very together. i tried it will had 15 dump truck loads of dirt brought in to put under our barn. before i put it i made a few NICE table-tops, next day the were just another pile of dirt

Cool little track you got guy's...I wish I could have something like that to play around on but i dotn have anywhere around here where cops aren't on my ***..one thing you could maybe try to improve is the size and smoothness of your landings

looks pretty pimped small track i am fixing to be getting some dirt for the woods at my dads house we are gonna clear out every thing and build some big jumps i hope we have room

If you're planning on keeping your track there for awhile and adding to it invest in a electric fence, trust me I know, cattle can destroy in 30 seconds what you spend two hours in building.

I started out pretty much the same way you did. I have a skid loader and a large tractor and loader, I got my dirt out of a nearby dry pond and just started laying out a course. Last summer I got a dozer in and buried a 12' tall tank and built up my doubles and built a step up.

I started with a 40' double and a rythem section with four 20' doubles. Now I have a 75' table top with a 7' take off, a 60' double, a 50' double, a 30' mini tabletop, a whoop section, and a corner rythem section with four little 15' doubles with 2' take offs, a step up, and a 30' double. All this is laid out on a 100 yard x 100 yard area. It's not much but it's what I've got and it makes for a good little arena cross style track. My next plans are to build up and stretch my set up, build a 75' triple, and stretch my table top and put a landing on it to make it a camel hump table top.
