Has anyone heard if the yfz450 frame needs gusseted? I dont know if I should do it this winter or wait untill I rebuild it next year.

from what i read the frame doesn't really have any serious issues, even for racing. im sure theres a couple spots that wouldn't hurt to have some bracing, but not sure where.

ive seen broken front shock mounts...foot pegs snapped off....

its a mild steel frame..it will CRACK sooner or later. if you tear it down...GUSSET it

some frames have weak spots in them, so u stick a peice of metal in the weak spot to make it stronger, but it doesnt always work...... like Z400 frames
