Since I haven't be posting the morning national numbers for the GNCC atv races I don't have them calculated yet. I am however working on it and hopefully will have them done by the end of the week. I have started on them and I think these will be the top 3 riders in the morning that will be sporting the 201,202, and 203 for next season:
Rider Total Pts. Num
Stephanie Parton 5450 201
Traci Cecco 5428 202
Richard Travalena 5419 203

How could Traci win the Womens class over Stephanie Parton, but not beat her for the morning overall
Posted by: DeCesare79
Easy,
Woman's Class only counts best 9 races
Overall counts best 11 races.

Ya, it happens alot. Class points and overall points are totally different. I believe Stephanie had more overall wins than Traci did.

Thanks Jeff
As for how one could win the class and the other have a better number. Decesare79 is right for your national # it is best 11 instead of 9.
Another example is Chad Duvall winning the pro-production and William Yokely finishing 2nd, Yokely will sport the #3 and Duvall #4. When you add non-class riders to the mix 1 position in your class could be 30 or so overall positions. Also look at Richard Travalena #203 overall, but 2nd in the stock 4-stroke class.
Last year the Howell boys dominated the 4-stroke stock class one winning 9 races and 8 overalls and a second. His national number was 241 and Stephanie I think had 1 or 2 overalls and she ended up with the 201 last year.
