I usually let it sit out in the sun for an hour or two, sometimes longer. This helps make the material softer and easier to stretch

I know it's a P.I.A . I put one on then my friend took his next one to an upholstry shop and they put it on in about 10 mins for $10. Seems worth it to me, if ya got something like that around ya.

although putting it in the sun is a good idea just toss it in the dryer for about 5-10 min. This will make it good and stretchy. Get a staple gun and staple the crap outa it. U might wanna put ur new seat cover over ur old one.

It does help to heat it up a little. Start at the front of the seat, alternating side to side, working your way to the back of the seat. An air stapler works the best and it also helps to have 2 set of hands.
