well my friend and i are chromeing his 300ex side cases i was wondering if they just bolt rite off or iff tehre was ne thing to look for or if ne thing else must come off first

get a manual. i would have been completely lost if i wouldnt have had mine. there are parts you will forget and lose. the manual will remind you of these when it is time to reassble...

the case on the right comes straight out but i dunno bout the one on the left i think it does too

If you have problems taking it off, and you are sure that you haven't forgotten any bolts then use a rubber mallet to knock it off. When i took off my Stator cover to chrome it, she was being a bit tough on me so i smacked it, and voila.
