i need an bigger tank so i was gonna go with an IMS and i was wondering since the neck is a lot bigger then stock do i need a longer steering stem for everything to clear? Thanks

My Stock stem is twisted and bent so i was going to get a new one from either Roll Design or Lone star and i wanted to check before i ordered

Your bars will clear with stock bars. The early tanks had problems if you used the pro-taper style bars. the problem was fixed by them redoing the tank. If you want I have a Clark 5.5 gal tank for a 400, but you must use stock plastic. the color is clear. If you do go with an IMS tank get the clear color so that you can see how much gas is in the tank when riding and when filling up.

Thanks i thought about a clark but i have maier plastic with a skin sticker kit so i changed my mind from it. but thank you for your help
